Re: Need password for clinician for Transcend Mini Travel Cpap
I returned the Transcend Mini so I can't verify for certain about the password, however... In May 2019 Wulfman posted: The default password always was......"juniper" In October 2022 fshrchik posted: ... the password was still juniper (all lowercase). My guess would be the password is still "juniper"...

Re: Need password for clinician for Transcend Mini Travel Cpap
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I just received a Transcend Micro today, and this information allowed me to change it from a constant-pressure of 10 to an auto-pressure of 10-20. Just what I needed. In case someone needs this in the future... We used the info in this thread and another to piece t...

Re: therapy break
Other sleep disturbance factors (such as: PLMD, RLS, and general anxiety) keep me from feeling well-rested each morning; however, that does NOT mean I will be stopping my CPAP therapy. Without CPAP I stop breathing over 70 times per hour and my O2 sat rate drops into the low 70's! My body was suffer...

Re: I am angry at my masks. (leaks, neck pain, severe agitation)
Did you allow yourself some awake time to get used to the process? My sleep doctor told me that I should start out using the CPAP while watching TV, reading, or surfing the web. This gives your brain time to learn to trust that thing stuck on your face and understand that it is a good thing. I bough...

EXACTLY!Denial Dave wrote:DME's are like used car salesmen.... they are going to try to sell you whatever makes the most profit for them.
It is our job as the customer to know what our medical plans cover and insist on making the DME's comply.

Re: Medicare changes--can't get mask--Youre next
I'm starting to get the feeling that some DMEs will use the ruse of "Medicare sez" or "Your insurance company sez" as a tool to steer their hapless clients into whatever product line, whether PR or ResMed, that tends to yield the most profit. With Obamacare thrown into the mix, the system is in a c...

Maybe it is just... cold-like symptoms unrelated to CPAP?? I don't know about where you are, but around here a LOT of people currently have cold-like symptoms.

Re: How many "Perfect ZERO" AHI nights have you had?
No zeroes for me yet, but, I only have three months of use so far.
I did a happy dance this morning to celebrate my best night yet with AHI of 0.11! That's pretty darn close, and MUCH better than where I was pre-treatment at 70.5!

I don't have an answer for you as I am not familiar with that machine. I thought I would reply just to *bump* your question back to the top so others who do know might see it.
I have my fingers crossed that you already found an answer!

Re: Submitting CPAP.com purchases to your Insurance Company
I just recently called Cigna to find out if I could buy the DME myself and submit the claim to them. They were real bitchy and rattled off a bunch of information I would have to get from the seller to do this - like federal tax ID blah blah blah. If you purchase from CPAP.com you can log in to your...

Re: Please Help with System One
Okay, do you have the optional "heated tube", or just a heated humidifier? The PR System One humidifier has 3 different modes: Classic (c); System One (o); and Heated Tube (h). The Heated Tube (h) option will only display if you are using the heated tubing with the humidifier and the 80W power suppl...

Re: Panic Attacks
I haven't officially started therapy yet. I pick up my machine tomorrow. But during the second half of my sleep study (where I slept with the hose)? Well, that was the first time in a long time that I didn't wake up at least once in a state of panic. I've suffered from anxiety disorder for a long t...

Re: AirFit P10 - first attempt not so good :-(
By the way... my avatar is of a scuba diving teddy bear. He has air tanks on his back and fins on his feet. I just made sure the fins were not in the picture and used the small CPAP tube from the Wisp nasal mask to make it look like he is using a CPAP. I'm kind of fond of him too.
