Past 2 nights waking with migraine headache - help. :(
I use a ResMed AirFit F10 full face mask. I've been using a cpap for 3 years approx. Always had good numbers around or way under 5. Haven't been using my cpap for a while as I was getting dry mouth a lot, so kept waking to drink water. Also have IBS-D, so kept having to whip the mask off (sometimes ...

Okay, didn't really want to make it public. So didn't identify him. But hopefully this is it.

Re: Video of hubby I took - definitely sleep apnea
What did your husband say about it ? Said, "and what... I was just probably breathing quietly... and haven't died yet" He is stubborn as they come. BUT.... he did make a call to my sleep dr & get an appt for next week. Thank heavens, as I worry about him every single night when I hear him breathing...

Darn, probably nobody else either then. Is there any free sites that I can upload a video from my phone & get a URL to share it? Cannot figure how to get it from my phone onto here another way.LSAT wrote:Sorry...I tried several different methods, but I cannot see your video.

My husband says he is fine, even though I know he has untreated sleep apnea. Well I got it on video this morning & will make him listen to it later. Firs...

Re: Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
Yep, he is basically being selfish & not thinking about his family or our future, only his own thoughts. I told him that. Plus I should add he has respiratory problems (allergies/sinus issues) plus has had heart pain in the past & is slightly overweight. Can we say risk factors?!!!! And yes I have t...

Re: Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
Has he said what his objection to pap therapy is? 49er He would never wear it as he would feel clostrophobic. He is a mouth-breather, so would need a full mask (as I wear). Plus I know he hates me wearing mine as his dad was in the hospital with a breathing mask a lot of the time for almost a year,...

Re: For Sale
You can certainly sell your machine on this site, but you will need to provide more information. For instance, upload a photo or link to a photo that shows the run hours on the machine. Why is it being sold? Was it used by a smoker? Is it in a home with or without pets? How much are you asking (kee...

Re: Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
Many smart phones have audio/video recording capability. Maybe a short video of him snoring and gasping would help him understand why your are concerned. Good idea. Maybe I should take my iphone to bed one night, then when I hear him during the night try to video with sound. Even if it doesn't have...

Re: Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
Thanks all. I brought it up & ended up in almost a shouting match between us with me storming upstairs crying my eyes out. His response was he hasn't died in 52 years (his age) & doesn't plan on doing it now. And there is no way he is going to wear a cpap, so point in getting tested. I said there we...

Re: Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
Darn, doubt it would help then, he kind of mouth breaths too. Ugh. yeah I am not working right now due to mental health issues so couldn't take out life insurance out on him & he knows that. So that would be his answer. lol I will keep trying to chip away at him. But probably not going to work. I wo...

Other alternatives to CPAP (no surgery or oral things)
So I used a cpap machine & love it. Helps a lot. But honestly I think hubby needs the cpap more than me. He snores loudly, will stop breathing then do the gasping thing. Counted last night & he did that about once very 3 minutes. Annoying & worrying to lay next to that. I told him he needs a sleep t...

Re: Seriously need help, DH says my cpap blows on him at night!
No, he doesn't complain about the sound, just that it is blowing on him. Really I think he is super sensitive, it is a king size bed & I am not that close to him. lol But trying to be nice & look for a better mask that disperses the air a bit better. I thought this one did, but maybe there are bette...

Anyone experience with Airfit F10 full face mask? Maybe this will diffuse the air more?
