Re: Please help me troubleshoot my AirMini with Airfit P10 setup
Unforunately, the two machines and masks are not interchangeable or mutually compatible. Try you regular mask with the new machine, forget the P10 for now. No go. The AriMini is only natively compatible with three Resmed masks. My regular mask, the DreamWear, is not one of them, and isn't even Resme...

Please help me troubleshoot my AirMini with Airfit P10 setup
Recently, I bit the bullet and bought a very expensive (for me) emergency travel CPAP setup for staying in the mountains with possible power outages. My regular machine/mask setup is the Airsense 11 with humidification and a DreamWear pilllows mask, which together work very well for me. But this set...

What is the best travel PAP with humificiation setup for me?
I currently use a Resmed AirSense 11 (auto PAP) with auto climate control and a DreamWear mask. I periodically travel to a high altitutde (5,000 ft) location abroad where there are periodic power outages. I would like to invest in a travel solution that still lets me have decent humidification but u...

Re: Looking for documentation proving that CPAP is allowed as "extra" carry on on airplanes
You're not going to find any documentation supporting your position, because your position is not true. That are no laws, ADA or FAA requirements that CPAP must be allowed as carry-on and not count towards one's carry-on. Most US (and other countries) carriers have a policy stating as much, but it'...

Looking for documentation proving that CPAP is allowed as "extra" carry on on airplanes
Periodically I fly to Mexico via Aeromexico. This company seems to have a policy regarding bringing a CPAP machine on board that violates FAA guidelines and ADA requirements. According to Aeromexico, CPAP machines are allowed in the cabin, but they count as one of the carry-ons. Obviously, this make...

Re: How can I get BMC masks in the US?
I tried emailing them but no response. I think they might be Chinese. Australians seem to be able to get the masks but I'm in the US.

How can I get BMC masks in the US?
Hi, folks. Some of you might have already seen in the last few days that I've been trying to figure out how to travel with my (Airsense) CPAP machine while being prepared for a possible power outage in Mexico. There are portable battery packs available, but they would only power my machine for about...

Re: Looking for recommendations for travel backup battery
I travel internationally annually. I travel with the Pilot Lite 24 by Medistrom. It’s FAA approved for flight. I travel with it in my carry on and use it to power my clap on the plane on overnight long haul flights. I’ve never once been questioned about it in numerous overseas flights. Sorry to rep...

Is there a way to temporarily reduce the need for a humidifier?
It's time for me to go to Mexico again for dental work. The last time I went there was a pretty long power outage and I wound up without CPAP use. Didn't sleep a wink that night which was miserable. So, now I'm looking into getting a TSA friendly CPAP battery backup -- see this previous thread: http...

Re: My AirSense 11 is crazy thirsty
Hmm.. Well, when I'm awake and up, I often heat the house in the colder months and that does tend to dry things out. But I sleep with the window open and the heater off. I don't live in a particularly dry climate. And this was never a problem with my Philips Respironics System One, which could go fo...

My AirSense 11 is crazy thirsty
Hello, everyone. I recently upgraded my CPAP from a Philips Respironics System One (OLD) a ResMed AirSense 10, which I had for a short while and which was then exchanged for an AirSense 11. (To be honest, I kind of liked the AirSense 10 a little better then the 11, but that's another discussion.) Bo...

Re: Looking for recommendations for travel backup battery
I believe I was one of the people who started some of the "camping" discussions when I was tryin to figure out how to power my CPAP at home in case of power outage. Now I'm asking primarily something different. I'm asking what I can take with me when traveling (by plane) to power the CPAP for at lea...

Looking for recommendations for travel backup battery
Last week I was on a brief trip out of the country (in Mexico) when my section of town lost power for 18 hours. I got no sleep that night, due to the inability to run my CPAP. At home I now have very robust power backup for my CPAP, such that I could run it more or less indefinitely without power fr...

Shopping for a DC adapter for my new AirSense 10 machine
I finally have a new CPAP machine! (I must have been the last person to be using the Philips Respironics System One machines long after the recall.) Now I need to get myself a DC adapter, so I can plug the machine into my solar generator when the power goes out. I found one on CPAP.com for $95, but ...

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I turned up the humidifier and it helped. Or maybe just my cold got better
