Re: Newbie Struggling

While it may be the case that LindseyMichelle's delicate sleeper problems will lessen or even end once she's fully adapted to CPAP, it's also possible that they won't. There are plenty of reasons other than OSA that lead to being a "delicate" or "fragile" sleeper. CPAP only fixes OSA, and if your s...

Buying from secondwind was not dumb. They will take it back. Send them the link to this thread.

The dumb part was buying that little machine. Anything that says "As seen on TV!" is questionable.

You say your AHI was 14.7. That's why you were a delicate sleeper - those breathing events were waking you all through the night. Now with CPAP, it may take a while to get out of your mind that you are a delicate sleeper.

Not cool. The doctor's relationship with primary person responsible for a patient can be very important.

Furthermore, the fact is that the real reason for the Electoral College was to implement the 3/5ths compromise. The other stated reasons were made up at the time because even then the 3/5th compromise was problematic and they needed to be politically correct. That's not true. You've been reading #F...

What do you get out of MYAIR that is not available more easily on the machine display?

On my machine display, I easily and quickly see AHI, leak, avg pressure, hours used and some other stuff.

Because she "snores even with the mask on." What other kind of mask would she be talking about?
She never said the mask was connected to a CPAP machine.

It comes in its own cumbersome bag. Can I just put it inside a "bubble wrap bag" in with the machine? Will any of the airline checking people care? I would put it in the medical bag with the CPAP machine. Regulations allow you to carry on one medical bag which does not count toward the carry-on all...
