Re: my sleepyhead data
Thanks and yes, I feel for people who are struggling to feel better. It took me what feels like a long time to get this right. I wouldn't say I am sleeping like I did when I was a teenager as I still wake up a few times during the night. But before attempting the CPAP again I felt exhausted almost e...

Re: my sleepyhead data
Thanks Pugsy! Now that I have gotten to the point where I have learned how to post the images my next goal will be to learn how to read the data myself. But I am glad you have deemed my reports "boring." I figured (hoped) that might be the case since I feel so much better these days, but it's nice t...

Re: my sleepyhead data
Kind of surprised I didn't get any responses! And I was so proud of myself for getting the images to post! no one has any thoughts on my data. Just curious if any of the numbers are bad, if there is anything I should be adjusting, etc.

my sleepyhead data
In the past my attempts to copy my sleepyhead images to this forum have been an unmitigated disaster. I know I am still not doing this 100% correctly, but I am hoping the images will show and give everyone enough information to let me know how I am doing. I feel like I have been sleeping much better...

Re: some advice for those struggling with CPAP
Seattleboy: nice to hear your story! When I got the Hosebuddy, it was the best cpap investment I've made! It keeps the hose outta' the way and I don't have to mess with it during the night. Wearing the mask is enough intrusion on your sleep without messing with a hose that can be eliminated. Now yo...

Re: some advice for those struggling with CPAP
Neceerie, I hope you like those hose as well! It's very easy to set up and not having these hose directly in your face when trying to sleep made all the difference in the world for me.

Re: some advice for those struggling with CPAP
Just like shaving SHearhart. It's not the razor that will empty your pocket, but the razors themselves. Hope the hose helps you though. It's less the. $15 so not much of a risk. There are a few different hoses on Amazon, but I went with that particular one just because it has the most positive revie...

Re: Breathing through your nose only.
I dealt with the same thing (still do occasionally) and I think it is a mental thing you will get over. When I know I can't breathe through my mouth then of course all I want to do is breathe through my mouth! It takes time to get used to and I still take a deep breath through my mouth here and ther...

Re: some advice for those struggling with CPAP
Thanks Nick! It was a long process, but worth it in the end. Not getting good quality sleep is such a truly miserable, debilitating feeling. I just hope that maybe what I wrote will help at least one person out there

Re: some advice for those struggling with CPAP
Thanks so much and yes, it was a heck of a struggle for me, but that makes finally getting it right feel that much better. Another thing I should mention to those who are having difficulties adjusting is that you might need to make other adjustments to your bedroom in order to sleep as well as possi...

some advice for those struggling with CPAP
I have been more lurker here of late rather than poster and that is mostly because of the struggles I've had getting used to the CPAP. There have been long periods where I have given up on it completely only to unsuccessfully try again after my wife complained about my snoring. After reading a few p...

Anyone try the Aveo TSD?
Hi all, this product seems strange to me since it basically suctions your tongue at nightime. But one of my colleagues, who has severe sleep apnea and couldn't get used to the CPAP, swears by it. Here is the link to it on Amazon. just curious as to whether anyone has actually ever tried it before. I...

Re: CPAP and nasal congestion
I have a heated tube and at first I was keeping it on 2, but then brought it down to 1 as I heard higher levels can irritate sinusitis which I have. I am thinking tonight I might put some Vicks vapor rub on my nose. I have been trying a new mask of late, the F&P eson nasal mask, so I could put some ...

CPAP and nasal congestion
Hi everyone, I am still in my trial run for insurances purposes in regards to the CPAP. Everything has been going fairly well except the last two nights have been a real struggle because I have been real congested. As I'm sure others have discovered long before me, it kind of feels like you are suff...
