Re: 11 days in - Help interpreting Data
Here's last night's data. The higher minimum pressure seems to have helped. I couldn't get to sleep so I used the ramp function at first goes from 4 to 8 in 15 min. I did wake up at 1:30 and I'd had enough of the mask on my face. It appears I had a few events right before then. http://i1370.photobuc...

Re: 11 days in - Help interpreting Data
Yes it set from 4 to 20. I can breathe at 4, but per your advice above I just raised the min to 8. My husband said I was snoring at the beginning last night. The wake up's since cpap, are usually due to the mask leaking and blowing cold air on my face and then the annoyance of the mask being tight o...

11 days in - Help interpreting Data
I'm 11 days into the apap. I imported my data into Sleepyhead, but I have almost no idea what it all means. Which data should I post here for your assistance in interpreting? I'm still waiting on Sleep Management Solutions to send me a new mask as I wake with the current one blowing air all across m...

Resistance Control?
In reading the specs on for my machine PR System One REMstar Auto CPAP Machine with A-Flex it says there is a resistance control and patient should tell machine which mask they use. The Resp therapist didn't change anything on the machine after he fit me with a mask. Can anyone assist me in how to c...

Re: Night 3.....fail
Thanks Janknitz , I was using your awesome fit details last night, but it wasn't meant to be.
I'll try the mask again, tonight until the new one arrives, to try and get use to the whole process. My nose bridge is a little better this AM as I only wore for 1 hour last night.

Re: Night 3.....fail
Called Sleep management Solutions, and they are going to send me a new mask Fisher & Paykel FlexiFit™ 431 Full Face, it apparently comes with all sizes of cushions. I'm a little concerned it goes below the chin, but perhaps it won't affect my jaw this way. Comment, I tried those F&P #431 and #432 i...

Night 3.....fail
Last night was my third night with a cpap. I couldn't for the life of me get my mask to not leak. Spent 20 min trying, had it all but a tiny leak near my eye, tipped my neck and laid into the pillow to stop it. That lasted for 1/2 hour, then I had a stiff neck and I abandoned the thing for the night...

Here are my initial sleep study results. No graph page, because I received a poor copy making it unreadable, but still a lot of info below. http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/ag264/vegas_Free/sleep1_zps504e3377.jpg http://i1370.photobucket.com/albums/ag264/vegas_Free/sleep2_zps4afb180b.jpg http://i...

Re: Newbie
Forgot to mention, I did go with SMS via my insurance. It will cost me a bit more in the end if I can tolerate and keep the machine. I waited until 2014, to make sure that all the costs went into one years deductible. If I purchased machine elsewhere, there are a whole other set of deductibles used.
