Re: Nasal pillow question
I think I've got the right size pillow. I turned the ramp off the 3rd day I had the machine, never did like it. I had considered turning the pressure up. I had thought about going to 11 for a couple of nights and then backing it off .2 a night after until I got back to 10. I was just curious if this...

Nasal pillow question
I just got the Airfit pillows and have tried them for about 3 nights. I had to go back to my nasal mask last night. Has anyone else experienced a feeling of being short if air using them, or any other nasal pillows? I felt like I was ok then I would be so short on air I would have to open my mouth t...

Airfit P10
I ordered the new resmed nasal pillows today. They called about my supplies and said it was time for a new mask and I have wanted to try the nasal pillows, so I figured there was no better time. I stopped by my DME and talked to the nurse and she showed me the Airfit and told me that she ordered the...

1 or 2 sleep studies
Is it common to have 2 sleep studies? My mom in law had her sleep study about a week before mine, then she had to go back for a second study. She is supposed to get her machine tomorrow. I've had my machine for about 3 weeks now, got it after about 5 days. They woke me up around 12:30-1 in the morni...

Re: Review after first week.
I went back to the clinical settings after watching the video and got everything set where I could adjust the temp and humidity. I'm still learning, but things are getting better. I had a dr appointment today and found out that I still have a sinus infection lingering around that I've had for a litt...

Review after first week.
I've had my machine for a week now. So far most nights have gone good and I have woke up feeling much better. I have gotten the heated hose and I have noticed my machine using much more water than before. I have noticed that the heated hose is MUCH heavier than the slim that came with the machine. I...

Re: how to help a family member who wants try cpap
I am pretty new and don't have a lot of knowledge here, but what about a home sleep study to see how things go for her?

Re: Getting ready for first night
My insurance rents the machine for 10 months before it buys it (but it buys the humidifier, go figure!), and they won't buy anything until that 10 month mark. I did ask about buying some extra filters and the sweet lady at my DME gave me some. I have considered buying the heated hose, but not wantin...

Re: Getting ready for first night
Well, the first night wasn't too bad. It took me a little longer to fall asleep than usual, but not too long. I noticed when I rolled to my side that it would leak a little around the edge of the mask. Not enough to hurt anything, and not really bothersome, but I would end up going to my back again ...

Getting ready for first night
Picked up my machine today. When I got to the DME they had it programmed and waiting to show me around. I got the S9 Elite, humidifier, and mirage FX nasal mask. After the reviews online, this is the exact setup I wanted. I had the choice of 3 mask, but this is the one she recommended and told me if...

Machine name
Hello, I'll start by introducing myself. I'm Jason, 32 yrs old in south Arkansas. I went Monday night for my sleep study and according to the tech, I will need a pressure of 10. I'm ready for them to finish relieving my results and call so I can get a machine. After having trouble falling asleep at ...

That was entirely enough for one day.
