I am sorry about any confusion that is not my intent. I really appreciate any advise I feel like I have tried just about everything. I believe that I am in the habit of waking up at 4:30 every morning. I set my phone alarm for 5:30 & 6:00 however I always wake before it rings. I have to leave my hou...

I remove the CPAP then I stay in bed til 5 am and wake up and take the Nuvigil and lay on the couch for about 30 minutes to get woke enough to get ready for work. I am on 6.5 mg of Ambien and I take it at night and go straight to bed. I don't know ...

Re: HELP PLEASE!!!
I will answer any questions that may help with this CPAP journey. I do not have the software for my CPAP machine yet, as soon as I do I will share that information. The biggest problem for me when I began wearing my CPAP nightly was the headgear being tight around my neck and the air drying my eyes ...

Re: HELP PLEASE!!!
Thank you all for your replies! I hope to one day be able to repay the favors! I am just so discouraged right now about my whole situation! I spent $2800.00 on an oral appliance that caused TMJ pain so I had to stop wearing it! However I am determined to get my life back. I have had 3 overnight slee...

Re: OSA and narcolepsy

Re: OSA and narcolepsy
Yes, with both of the MSLT's I slept with CPAP and on the the last study I slept 6.5 hours and ahi was a 1. I used CPAP average 4.5 hours nightly for 10 weeks prior to study. I did not sleep more than 5 hours when I was on Zyrem ( that is why only 5 hours ). I now wake up feeling really bad and have...

Re: OSA and narcolepsy
Yes, I have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and narcolepsy. I first had a overnight study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea AHI 23 and had fragment sleep even with CPAP therapy. This was noticed on my titration study by my doctor. I used CPAP faithfully for 3 months and still had excessive daytime ...
