Re: High heartrate and capped upper pressure
I would like to nominate this post as the initial entry in the sticky "The Best of dataq1". Thanks (but I don’t think that will be helpful to bbridge) Wrongo!! Very helpful!! Now they know you have NFI what you're talking about!! So your advice to bbridge is to NOT ask her doctor to check out unusu...

Re: Very unhappy morning
So the 2 nights I used the machine, I felt so much better in the morning, by 11am exhaustion hit. Very badly yesterday, couldn't even get to the computer. Everything on the machineis on lock-down, even in clinical mode. When I woke up yesterday I'd had a dream, almost never happens, the pressure wa...

Re: High heartrate and capped upper pressure
I’d recommend that you ask your doctor for a Holter monitor to see what’s going on. I am 63 with a normal ekg and normal heart ultrasound. My ex was a holter tech and put one on me in 1985. He said my heart rate went crazy in the middle of the night. In hindsight, I have always wondered if that was...

Re: High heartrate and capped upper pressure
Here is the 2am apnea In OSCAR, click on the Events tab and tell us how long that apnea is. If you upload your data to a free account at SleepHQ.com and post the link in this thread, we can zoom in to take a close look at your data. The 2am one was 30 seconds. I took a screenshot of the events list...

Re: High heartrate and capped upper pressure
Here is the 2am apnea that corresponds to the heartrate being really high and the wave form earlier in the night zoomed in. https://prnt.sc/eR7rcC6dy0Dm https://prnt.sc/qiW9hGH-W9kf Sure wish rubicon would take a look at that zoomed in area. Also, could you zoom in further on just the area between ...

High heartrate and capped upper pressure
I wear a Fitbit and like to use it to track my sleep quality and heartrate. My resting heartrate ranges from 53-80 and up to 145 max when exercising which I think is pretty healthy. My Fitbit has recorded 3 dates recently when my heartrate was between 160-180 while asleep. I didn't know if it was a ...

Re: Smart ring at home testing for sleep apnea
This is a follow-up to my original post. I found all of my old sleep lab studies from 2006-2015 including one from Mayo in Jacksonville. I also had the SD card with data from the past year of almost 100% compliance. He ordered me a new machine, the same Airsense 10 APAP. When I met with his nurse at...

Re: Smart ring at home testing for sleep apnea
The test was ordered by the doctor and approved by insurance with a $175 deductible out-of-pocket expense. I found that the exact same ring is sold for $175 on Amazon. https://us.amazon.com/Wellue-Monitor-Continuously-Tracking-Software/dp/B08VW3VQKW/ref=sr_1_6?crid=3S5P6W2GFW083&keywords=02+ring+oxy...

Smart ring at home testing for sleep apnea
I had recently had a two night at home test using only a smart ring and an app. This was a retesting for a new machine. I had to wear it for 4 hours each night. It measures heart rate and blood oxygen and "peripheral artery tone". It is a device that can be purchased on Amazon for $175 dollars. Is t...

Re: Minute and a half apnea on APAP - just a slow response?
Thanks for the re-welcome. I was on here years ago when I was struggling. I love my APAP which I have been on since 2013. My first 2005 cpap tube and mask would fill with water from the humidifier, didn't seem to help a whole lot and led to me being "non-compliant". No such problems with the new mac...

Re: Minute and a half apnea on APAP - just a slow response?
Thanks for all the info, but I get enough snark from Anthem to fulfill my requirements. If I was misinterpreting some of the text as snarky, I apologize. I am not a sleep tech nor qualified to know how the device works, when it can improved by settings adjustments or when it is misbehaving. I checke...
