Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
I'm not telling you to take klonopin, but there are studies in the journal of sleep by Guilleminault and others that show klonopin is effective. anti-aging doctors also prescribe it for deeper sleep

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
those labels on klonopin are mostly theoretical, it is the best sleep aid, better than ambien. all the sleep docs don't know how to adjust the settings on asv that I've seen. all they tell me is to lower the settings but that seems bad since I need the higher settings to stop the hypopneas/ central ...

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
doubt that klonopin is addictive for me and I feel much more clear and energetic on it. there are studies that show it reduces central apnea events. how do they measure sleep architecture? I have 0.1% stage 3/4 sleep it should be 10% http://imageshack.com/i/b9akjyp as you can see I have all these sp...

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
well the resmed s9 was a big failure of over one year. and I don't have a sleep doc nearby me right now and am so exhausted I can't walk a few blocks.
I really think I need klonopin or a benza to consolidate my sleep and reduce centrals. anyone else feel that and that there aren't sides?

Re: Vitamins for brain to reduce Apnea damage
I'm taking choline and alpha GPC and NAC. so the coconut oil makes a big difference along with the berries? is it the astanaxathin in strawberries or lobster that is an antioxidant and helps brain function?

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
I'm so exhausted I just collapse on the ventilator, is there an image shack site where I upload the graphs from sleepyhead? anyway I was in a terrible car accident after being on this site!

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
the Phillips asv on auto mode is pretty good I have a lot more clarity and energy on max ipap 18cm. I still have some fog and am stuck on this ventilator for life. those sleep docs don't know anything, some of them are just robbing us!!!
why don't you tell me what you think about the settings?

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
at the sleep doctor they gave me a setting of epap 5cm, ipap max 20cm, ps range- 5-15cm, but it was awful on the s9 vpap adapt. it's too aggressive and I think 15bpm may be too high for me. I mostly had unspecified apneas and hypopneas on the sleepyhead analysis of my data card and almost no OSA eve...

Re: ASV newbie need setting help!
I'm still foggy and exhausted most days and have chest pains on the auto mode max ipap 20cm. I can't exhale with my asthma so is a lower epap range like 4-7cm good? a professor told me to use epap min 8cm, but on the resmed machine I would demask and the bpm was stuck on 15, terrible. last night, I ...

ASV newbie need setting help!
I finally got an asv while getting brain damage and diabetes and organ damage. but the high settings some patients post don't seem to work for me unless it's long term or something. I tried BPM 10 TI 1.5, max IPAP 18cm EPAP 4-9cm and I felt much better today, felt more rested and clear.
