Re: Apria sent mask and hose unsolicited. How to deal with them?
Call and tell them you never authorized automatic delivery and that you will not authorize payment from your insurance. Call your ins co and tell them. If I had to use Apria I would rather pay out of pocket. I started out using them and had so many billing/shipping problems that I got out ASAP. I d...

Tap pap and tongue sores
Im having a little problem with my mouth guard and the mask is only about 4 months old. I grit my teeth a lot and have gouged the guard bad enough to where the sharp edges are causing me tongue sores from rubbing up against them. Getting pretty bad on the tip of the tongue, so I went back to my Bree...

I boil my water and then put in a little rat poison to kill off any remaining bacteria. Course I have a block of Urainum 232 in the bottom of my humidifier. Of course I think the rat poison is overkill, but you can never be to safe.

Re: When (or why) do I need to clean my System One H2O chamber?
I use distilled water and after a few days of use without cleaning it gets smelly. After pouring out the water and feeling inside the container, I can feel a slippery, scum like substance inside the humidifier tray, and my house is spotless. I would, and do, wash mine every two days. I know from sci...

Lot of old folk set in their ways here. I don't take anything personal, I've got way far to much other "real life" stuff to be concerned with.

Re: I need a mask without face straps- please help!
The Tap Pap or The Breeze are the only 2 that I've found. Both are great for side/stomach sleepers. But the definite winner here is the tap pap. Not only does it keep the pillows in place, but it improves your dental hygene! I brush my teeth now in the mornings, before and after naps, and before I g...

Re: What's best for Side Sleepers
The Tap Pap. (period), end of statement. Stomach sleeper, use regular foam pillows and I can honestly say its like sleeping before the cpap came into the picture. I can lift my head to sleep on the other cheek without rolling over or getting tangled in hoses. As long as you have about 6 good teeth i...

Yes, or you can put it in your closet so you will have one handy after they find the oral appliance doesn't work.

Re: SELLING NEW RESMED S8 ELITE II WITH MASK AND HUMIDIFIER
You must be kidding. Forget what it sold for when it was new. I paid $35,000 for my car when it was new...it's worth about $10,000 today. Your S8 is worth about $200 at best. The S8 is about 4-5 years old. PS...The fountain of youth is in Florida. Maybe you should head there, sounds to me like your...

Re: how important is size of cpap device
Size of the cpap isn't important, its the length of the hose that you need.
