I saw the option to get an auto. I didn’t know they could update the record. I’ll give them a call, thanks!

Re: Odd comment from my Pulmonologist
I know this is reeeeally old. I was a preemie. Like 26 weeker in 1979. I assume most preemies have apnea issues when they’re still in NICU, but I wonder if that may have been a cause for me to develop apnea. Or a reason why they diagnosed me when it was only 7.2. Mom said that one of the worst sound...

Got an email from PR for settings and not sure what to do. Also rants.
I finally got an email from everyone’s favorite scumbags (Philips Respironics) today stating that they needed my settings or approval to ship an APAP to me. I wanted to call them to make sure they send a DS1. I’d just purchased my DS1 maybe 3 months before the recall, and got a great price that incl...

Re: Odd comment from my Pulmonologist
Hi, it was a split night study. I don’t recall if the limb movements improved with CPAP use. I know I am much more rested and don’t snore nearly as bad though when I am on it, so there’s that.

In other news, Lifescan announced that blood-glucose readings on their devices would be encrypted and patients would no longer be able to see the readings. A spokesperson said, "Lifescan has determined that as a company we must encrypt data for privacy and security reasons." Don’t give them ideas!!!

Re: Odd comment from my Pulmonologist
Ahhh! Thanks Pugsy. He was younger-ish. Probably early 50’s. The one he replaced was older and I think had more experience with critical care (not that I needed it). Well, the important thing is I got that new machine (PR DreamStation)…just in time for a recall a few months later. Glad I kept the Re...

Odd comment from my Pulmonologist
I was in recently for a meeting with my new pulmonologist. The old one retired earlier this year, I needed a new script for a machine and supplies. He looked over my sleep study results from 2013 and asked me why I was on CPAP given that my AHI was 7.2 244C7BCE-27D6-4CC8-BB82-9FF71E73F79D.jpeg My fa...

Re: Aftermarket ResMed P10 headgear straps?
The better 3/4 has an F & P Simplus. We discovered that the headgear for the Eson works just fine. The only difference seems to be that the clips aren’t as wide. I may try the knockoff P10 headgear. I’ll see what the usual scum bags have. I didn’t know that the N30 headgear would fit the P10. A manu...

Re: DME just remotely fiddled with my settings...grrrr!
Actually foil won't work. Foil will keep the machine from radiating EMF out but it won't stop cell signals. To check this out wrap your cell phone in foil and then call it. If it rings the signal is still getting through. I'll leave out the discusion about cell signals being emf and allow that they...

Re: SleepyHead 0.9.6 Pre-Release thread..
Any idea on when we'll see a release for non-Fedora or non-Ubuntu Linux platforms? I'm NOT complaining, I'm just not sure how to get WINE to play nice on this platform so I can run the Windows version.
I'm running Linux Mint Debian edition and Sleepyhead works pretty dang well on this platform.

Re: ResScan Software Download
I'm running a linux box w/WINE to provide a Windows environment. I already have SleepyHead which I love, but would like to take a crack at running ResScan. Could someone PM the link to me please?

Re: S9 clicking noise?
I have the same issue with my 2 week old machine. Even when off (but plugged in) it makes that clicking noise all day every 5 seconds . I contacted ResMed and here is there response: «Do you have your H5i Humidifier attached? I do know that humidifier does have a very low sounding clicking noise. I...
