A little over 1 month on CPAP
I have been on CPAP a little over 1 month. For me the results have been outstanding. My blood pressure on my doctors visit last Monday was 120/80 in my left arm and 122/82 in my right arm. The doctor has me on half strength Exforge with one medicine removed. So I went from a 3 in 1 pill with double ...

Re: OKAY PUGSY we gotcha!!!
Pugsy you rock! without your knowledge and help with me on my CPAP. I wouldn't be up feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed. My wife and kids are all excited because we are going to spend the Saturday doing things and I am not crabby and sleepy. Big hug to you from me, my wife, my 11 year old and my 5...

Re: 3rd night 4 hours of sleep
Yeah Mabsmuzic, I hear you. It frustrating to have to deal with taping things down, adjustments of pressure and learning a bunch of new stuff every time you log on. Everybody else went thru this (and I still do) but you have to ask yourself: What is the alternative? Keep plugging away and remember ...

3rd night 4 hours of sleep
I was able to make it 4 hours. I remember taking mask off at 6:00am but I was up at 6:50am. I will be taping to my cheeks as was suggested tonight. No headache today. Blood Pressure is 115/64 before taking my Blood Pressure meds this morning. I am aiming for 6 to 8 hours of CPAP

2nd night in the books.
Well I have had my CPAP for 2 days now. first night logged in 3 hours with mask on. 2nd night logged 2 hours with mask on. My biggest issue seems to be I am removing the mask at night but have no memory of why I am doing that. My wife says she woke me up and asked me "shouldn't you be sleeping with ...

Re: Northern, Illinois DME suggestions
Hi M, glad it went well. Did you get all 3 size nose pieces? There is an extra small/petite, small/med, and large for the Wisp. If I were you I would make sure I had all three, even if you don't think you will need them. I hope you are able to adjust well to CPAP. It definitely takes come getting u...

Re: Northern, Illinois DME suggestions
Well I visited Apria today. I got to see my prescription. My pulmonologist requested a Respironics 560P/with heated humidifier. The technician was great and said if I wanted to go for the heated hose options we could make some calls and see what we could do. United Healthcare will not pay for what i...
