Re: TMJ and Full Face Masks
I have modest TMJ and have always used a Quattro FF mask. It does not need to be that tight. The mask cushion needs to fill with air...it can't do that if it is too tight. I'm not familiar with the F&P but it may work similarly.....The mask shown in your profile is the Quattro FX (?) I updated my p...

Re: TMJ and Full Face Masks
the full face I'm using pushes my lower jaw into my skull creating pain and discomfort Sounds like you may have it adjusted too tightly. Check out the AirFit F10 for a mask that should not be adjusted tightly. Watch the manufacturer's video instructions on adjusting it. https://www.cpap.com/product...

TMJ and Full Face Masks
With my allergies I've been trying to use my full face instead of the wisp mask. However I have some TMJ issues and the full face I'm using pushes my lower jaw into my skull creating pain and discomfort. I qualify for a new mask and was just wondering if anyone else has a similar issue that they res...

Re: Routing hose up = best night so far
Take it one step further... get a hose hanger (or devise your own). A hose hanger gets the hose completely outta' the way. When I was curious about a hose hanger, I was skeptical. After the first night of using one, I kicked myself for not getting one sooner. Why folks fuss with the hose all night ...

Re: Cpap bed pillow
I tried something similar and didn't like it. The pillow I love and have been using for 2 years is the buckwheat hull pillow from pur-sleep. It is very firm, but can be shaped to fit. As with most pillows you need to sleep with the mask at the edge of the pillow. Take a look....I think there is a v...

Re: Reasonable or Unreasonable?
I get my supplies through the Mayo Clinic Store in Rochester MN but I haven't had a lot of dealing with them yet as I've only been on cpap since Feb. 3. They're about a 5-minute drive depending on traffic. They didn't give me a lot of information when I got the machine, just told me how to run the ...

Re: Reasonable or Unreasonable?
Changing the pressure is dead simple. There are manuals on line. Assuming you have a machine which keeps data you can download software called Sleepyhead and look at your data. Post it here and someone will help you understand it. I figured that out down the road but at first I was clueless. I woul...

Re: Reasonable or Unreasonable?
Not unreasonable. Go somewhere else. I'm also sorry to hear that you have to wake up to someone yelling at you while you are going through issues. Fortunately I have not had to deal with either of those issues. John I think I'm done with them. Now I just need to find a local place. She doesn't alwa...

Reasonable or Unreasonable?
I know I've asked this in the past but where do you get your supplies? I drive about 45 minutes to the Cleveland Clinic home care office and can also order supplies over the phone from them. However... For over a year now I call and more than half the time am sent to someones voice mail. I've asked ...

Re: Any one have a water chamber for sale?
I agree with all above advice. As to the fix maybe Gorilla Glue? I would only glue from the outside. Jen I didn't think of that... I'll get some from work tomorrow and let everyone know how it goes! I am ocd about keeping my stuff clean, especially with the laundry list of health issues I have at a...

Re: Any one have a water chamber for sale?
I'm debating on ordering them from this site but two problems exist 1. It will take 3-4 days to reach me from Houston TX. That means possibly the weekend and Cleveland Clinic is "supposed" to have them in next week. 2. Cleveland only wants $15.00 a piece. I was going to order two of them. Not to sou...

Any one have a water chamber for sale?
I'm looking for one of these and need it like tonight: https://www.cpap.com/productpage/respironics-pr-system-one-remstar-cpap-heated-humidifiers-universal-kit.html?tab=reviews#/features-tab I'm sooo mad right now. Last night I pulled my water chamber out of the dishwasher and went to fill it up. I ...

Re: Ordering supplies online?
Thanks for the responses! I think I'll just stick to who I've been using. I was trying to avoid the 45 minute drive one way but think I'll just deal with it at this point.
