Re: Does ResMed H5i tank ever feel warm?
Yes, BUT why then is the F&P water warm when I change it or add to it, while the ResMed is room temp or less? Because of a different algorithm?? And if the hose is "heated" why don't I feel that either? Just wondering.

Re: Does ResMed H5i tank ever feel warm?
I too have the same question. I started with a F&P Icon, and that water was WARM. I don't sense really warm water in my nose, and I agree that the water is not warm. Neither is the hose.

Re: OT -- My Obamacare Signup/Rates
We have already been to the NY State of Health, and we know the platinum price...what we do not know is about prescriptions and deductibles. It cannot be 10% for everything, can it?? What about major surgeries, etc.

Re: OT -- My Obamacare Signup/Rates
My brother has a plan called Healthy New York, which will cease to exist Dec 31. We know the prices and levels, BUT does anyone know what the deductibles might be? He currently pays 250 a month, with a deductible of 1250.

Re: Results so far...looking for comments
So I have an Escape Auto. Where can I see that there is something programmed in for the Auto part to be functioning?? BTW, I am still watching Craigslist daily looking for an Autoset.

Results so far...looking for comments
I started late July with a F&P Icon and a Wisp. I had trouble with leakage with the Wisp, every night. I also asked the DME is there was a lighter machine, as i travel to Mexico for weeks at a time, twice a year. So I exchanged it for a ResMed Escape Auto, and a F&P Pilairo. At that point I decided ...

Re: A Field Guide to Naps
I still regret all those naps I did not take as a kid - before Kindergarten, when my mother wanted me to to nap with her [so she could get a nap] and in Kindergarten, on those little rugs, I did not nap either. Wish I could get them back.

AVERAGE LIFE SPAN??
Just curious, and maybe I should do a search, but what is the average life span of a quality machine?? I know medicare pays only once every 5 years. But if I buy a used machine, how much will it shorten the lifespan?? Is there any chance of *abuse* vs use, and what would be considered abuse, if ther...

I will be anxious to try it to see if it is better than the Pilairo I have now. Ia m quite satisfied with the current one. The stretch back adjusts nicely to my head.

Video re how to get AHI data off an Sp Escape??
I saw one a while back which gave instructions on how to see your AHI...that video has disappeared, it seems. The guy in the video was wearing a sweater with diamonds. Can anyone direct me to the video or tell me how to see my AHI??
