Re: Starting ramp pressure below 4cm (DS760TS)
I can do BiFlex at 2 or 3 without issues but BiFlex at 1 just feels out of whack with my own breathing rhythm. CFlex was totally useless for me. AFlex...I loved it at 2 but hated it at 1 because it was too slow and 3 was making me feel like I was hyperventilating. All the various Flex exhale relief...

Re: OT - Obamacare
Maybe if Republicans had not been so hardnosed when the original bill was written (since pulled to pieces trying to satisfy them) it would have done what it was intended to do. Now no one's happy, but I wouldn't blame Democrats for that. Republicans weren't invited to the party. Democrats own Obama...

Re: Starting ramp pressure below 4cm (DS760TS)
I actually managed to get used to it. The issue was I had the biflex at level 3. So when things go really low when I'm exhaling, a burst of air pushes in when inhaling. So, I switch to a biflex level of 2. This made it so that there's no burst, but an ease into higher pressure. That, plus ramping up...

Re: Starting ramp pressure below 4cm (DS760TS)
My issue is usually when I'm exhaling. If I have too much pressure pushing back, I can't exhale and I freak out.

Starting ramp pressure below 4cm (DS760TS)
I have a respironics DS760TS. I have a prescription for 17cm/11cm, but the initial pressure it too much. So, I tired ramping up, but the lowest initial pressure is 4cm (E) and 10cm (I). Is it possible to lower these pressures any further? The machine is in BiPAP mode. I have BiFlex on so when I exha...

What a deal!
So, I initially was going to get my BiPAP from some supply shop in the suburbs. They initially told me I'd be paying $1600. I get there and they say, "Oh. The BiPAP (660) itself is $1600. The accessories will cost you another $300. Also the heated humidifier will cost you another $300, but you can't...

Re: Who has the best prices?
I'd prefer to buy one from a site so I can let my insurance company see where I got the stuff and the prices.

Who has the best prices?
Which site(s) have the best prices on either a RedMed S9 VPAP or a Respironics PRO 660 BiPAP?

Re: New to this and about to purchase a BiPAP
If I get an auto BiPAP/VPAP, does it provide a feature to turn off the "auto" mode?

New to this and about to purchase a BiPAP
I have a prescription for a Respironics PRO 660 BiPAP machine. After finding that the local dealers were trying to overcharge the heck out of me, I decided to buy online. The doctors office even decided to provide me some links since I am paying for this totally on my own. I'd like to know about how...
