Re: Could this speech symptom be related to PAP therapy?
I have a vocal cord dysfuntion that manifests as shortness of breath on speaking, hoarseness and a breathy or gravely phonation to my speech. I've actually wondered if CPAP makes it worse though I've had it for years prior to PAP therapy. If no other doc. finds anything you might try an ENT to see i...

Thank you. Corrected machine. Thanks for deleting double post - not sure how I posted twice. Having trouble importing data to sleepyhead. Will persevere.

AHI numbers out of whack
I have been using Sleepmapper to track AHI's. They have consistently been in the 1-3 range. Then the past 2 days towards the end of the sleep cycle the graph skyrockets and my AHI's have registered as 59 and 66! What could be going on here? Can I really be getting AHI's that high? What would it mean...

Re: Mirage Quattro VS Mirage Quattro FX?
I've used both and prefer the Quattro FX by far. I like that there is nothing above the bridge of my nose or eyes. It feels lighter and easier to wear. The plastic part of the headgear that lies on the face doesn't stick out and I find it comfortable. I have had some leak issues trying to sleep on m...

Re: Efficacy data question
You can access basic efficacy data using "sleepmaker" software. You need to upload it and your DME or maybe other professional has to activate you on the server. Call your DME and ask about it. It's free for use on your computer, but costly if you want to buy a gizmo that will load the data onto a m...

Re: Sleepmapper software not working for me
I loaded it on my Windows 8 machine just fine but saw no data. I called my DME (who told me about it) and turns out they had to activate my account on the server. It works fine now. Limited data as everyone has said, but its easy and tells me what I need. I suggest you contact whatever professional ...
