Re: New to cpap
(Also, I'm not sure if there's an SD slot on the computer I downloaded OSCAR to...I need to poke around the back of it.) For a laptop the slot should be on the side, on a desktop (CPU) it would be in the front. If you have a fairly new computer, it may not have a SD slot, and you would have to buy ...

Re: New to cpap
Hang in there Hlge, and stay with the great people on this board. They got me through my start up and bumps along the way. There is a gold mine of information here, so whenever you have time do some searches on topics and read, read, read. One thing will lead to another, because right now you don't ...

Smart start is on. I will turn it off. And yes, the machine has been turning itself off... I notice it occasionally, but may be happening more often. New machine purchased, thanks to LSAT. Thanks for everyone’s help.

Graphs from last night with heated hose. Much better. I can be ok with this until I get home.
Why is there all of the breaks in the pressure graph?

Re: Sudden Extreme High AHI
I don't know how to get more of the numbers down the side. I won't be home until March 3. I've messaged LSAT about a new/used machine he has access to. If that works out it should be there when I get home.

Re: Sudden Extreme High AHI
I finally received the new nasal pillows. Used those last night, but could not get a Happy face on the mask test. I tried the direct breathing into the long hose, and got a Happy Face. So, I decided to try black electrical tape and taped all of the areas on the hoses that have connectors. Got a happ...

Re: Newbie help
Yes, it is all overwhelming to start. A new "language" to learn, new sleep regimen, new "stuff" in the bed with you. It won't take long and you will totally enjoy breathing at night, and all the other stuff will be less of a hassle. The folks here are great to help you help yourself. I'm not any hel...

Re: Sudden Extreme High AHI
Maybe try the breath direct from the hose trick and see if leaks are zero I assume that is exactly how is sounds. I can test that. Thank you Graph from last night. Tape stayed in place all night. I feel like I had a great nights sleep. I'm feeling like I am sort of spinning my wheels until I get ho...

Thank you, I will do that.Miss Emerita wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 10:48 amForum member LSAT sometimes has lightly used machines for sale. I got my VAuto from him, and everything went just perfectly. Try sending him a message; I think you'll want a ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset (or ditto, For Her).
