Re: FLUOROURACIL 0.5 % cream & full face cpap mask
Squid13, I'm doing the whole head & neck. My bald head is in that too. My childhood years had way too much sun exposure and my stint in SE Asia figures in too.

Re: FLUOROURACIL 0.5 % cream & full face cpap mask
I don't think it would help because it would still be riding/rubbing on my face.

FLUOROURACIL 0.5 % cream & full face cpap mask
I'm now in the 2nd week of a 4 week regimen for treatment of skin cancer. It's getting to be uncomfortable for me as my face, head, and neck are beginning to resemble raw hamburger. Anyone been through this? Should I keep attempting to use cpap for the next couple of weeks (my nightly ahi has gone u...

Re: Higher Sp02 when heart rate drops? (bradycardia)
Perhaps higher(faster) heart rate means there is less time for blood oxygenation.
Until I had ablations done my heart rate would triple instantaneously and because no useful blood flow was reaching my brain I would have a syncope with drop episode (not something I'd wish on anyone).

Re: full face mask slides up during night
Make sure it's the correct size mask for him. He may need a larger one. That mask is available up to an extra large. Once he gets the mask eating/slide up controlled it is a comfortable mask (at least for me). The only complaints I have is the disconnect/swivel adapter is hard to remove and the cush...

Re: Sleep study done - "You slept"
I had a 3 night ordeal. First night all wired up, didn't have what I thought was anything but my normal night. Well I never got past stage 2 sleep and had an ahi index of 108.5/ hour with O2 desat to 81%. Needless to say I was scheduled for titration 2 days later which I bailed out of at 11:30 pm be...

Re: Does anyone else experience waking with rapid heart rate?
I've had just about every heart related procedure & test my two cardiologists could think of. I even had an implanted loop recorder for 2 years. I was initially diagnosed with tachy/Brady arrhythmia, but after the loop recorder "caught" my heart rate going from 70bpm to 240bpm almost instantaneously...

Re: Heart palps while using CPAP
Renee, "Heart palps "can be very difficult to get to a root cause. Do you only have them at night? Do you feel like they are too fast or too slow (skipped) or both? I've been dealing with tachy /Brady arrhythmia, svt's and my resultant syncope with drop. I also have gerd (take nexium). I've had stre...

Re: Questions about study
I thought I had a pretty "normal" night during my study (even with all the connections). I fell asleep pretty fast but never got past stage 2 sleep. My "room" had no clock in it because the tech was responsible for getting me up at the time I told them I would normally wake. I think that it was real...

Re: What were you, and what are you now?
My sleep study produced an AHI of 108.5/hour and I never made it past stage II sleep.
Now I'm averaging <2 AHI & 7.5 hours sleep. Still waiting on the energy level to increase though

Are you sure that ResScan & Sleepyhead are pointing to the correct download location? They are different and need to be correct or import won't see data.

You can't even "test drive" a mask in that amount of time much less deal with everything else

Re: Hose keeps sliding off
Mine has a little white adapter that fits into the hose and that is what snaps onto the clear swivel. I have that on....It's a lot shorter than the "adapter" that the Quattro FX uses (about 1/2" shorter overall and 1/4" shorter where the tube slides on). In fact the adapter is shorter than the clea...
