More Pressure - More Leaks - More Problems
My doctor says that increasing the pressure of the APAP will create the best results in reducing AHI. I think it might be true up to a point, but as I went from 10cm to 16cm gradually over a 10-week period, as the AHI went down I also started experiencing more mouth leaks (using nasal pillow), chin ...

Re: DeVilbiss Missing CA Data or Left Out on purpose?
No. I didn't show any CA's on my sleep study, but occasionally show NRI's on the DeVilbiss data.

DeVilbiss Missing CA Data or Left Out on purpose?
The following excerpt is from the Devilbiss AutoAdjust Clinical Overview on their website. "Determining central and non-obstructive apneas is a controversial subject among manufacturers of Autotitrating devices. Some Autotitrating units are limited to flow signals. Due to this limitation, some manuf...

Re: set current time
Similar problem with the DeVilbiss AutoAdjust and SmartLink its data manager. I sleep all night with the maks on breathing away with on 1 bathroom break for about 2 min. The machine is off while I'm away, but auto start is enabled and after putting the mask back on and a few breaths the machine star...

Re: CPAP Loses Its Timing
Sorry, forgot to add that I have unplugged/replugged the machine (when I got the UPS this past weekend). 2 nights went by no problem, all hours accounted for (same routine). Last night, 8 hours sleep, 1 bathroom break, Smartcode shows 0.9 hours used.

Re: CPAP Loses Its Timing
That might be part of the probem since I have it on "Auto Start". I slip on the mask, take a few breaths, and it carries on . . . Some nights, no problem. It shows all hours accounted for. Just periodically now, it is under reporting the hours for some reason. But, YES, I am willing to assume it is ...

CPAP Loses Its Timing
Greetings - Here's one. I just started using the DeVilbiss Auto Adjust a month ago. So far, so good. Lately, however, when I check the daily Smartcode stats, it will show that I used the maching only a fraction of the time that I actually did. I put on the mask and go to sleep at 10PM, for example, ...
