Re: So what now?

After a long and frustrating four months on CPAP with no relief from my mild (7.5 AHI) OSA, I've set my minimum pressure to the highest 20cm. I don't have any issues with the pressure and sleep through the night without any discomfort. I don't have aerophagia, I don't remove my mask, I fall asleep ...

Re: Do you have a backup XPAP machine and have you ever had to use it?

I always use my backup machine for 2 months out of the year February and March. A few years ago the backup machine went bad in the middle of the night.
Thank goodness for Accurate who fixed the broken machine very quickly and I was able to finish the month using the backup.

Re: Does cpap therapy help with depression?

Hi new here, Just looking for success stories or brief responses to whether sleep apnea was a major contributor to anxiety and/or depression and if cpap treatment improved things. Thank you In my case it is amazing what sleeping and breathing at the same time did for my mental health and well being.

Re: Am I a CPAP failure?

well after reading your posts... I don't think you are a failure.. I think the system and the doctors failed you.. If they let you go on this therapy for 3 years with NO improvements and didn't bother to look at the data the machine has to offer. That is the failure! If It was me I would fire the do...

Re: A week of APAP and some SLeepyhead DATA. Suggestions?

Give it a week and see how it goes. You may still need some tweaking just to make sure your therapy is optimized. If you are going through all the trouble of wearing the mask and sleeping with the machine you want your therapy to be the best it can be. Glad it is at least below 5. I wish you well.

Re: A week of APAP and some SLeepyhead DATA. Suggestions?

Your AHI is still to high. You are supposed to be below 5. If it was me I would raise the minimum pressure to 10, and set the max to 20 for a few days. See how high the pressure goes. Your leak rate for the most part is acceptable... With more pressure that should clean up the snoring. I see your pr...

Re: 8 months in and NOTHING

I could NOT get encore pro to work with Windows 10. The version of sql it needs is not compatible with win10.

I would suggest to create a new partition on your hard drive install windows 7. That is what I ended up doing. I did NOT want to give up on the encore pro.

I wish you well.. :)

Re: How to Solve Humidity Problems

Well it sounds like you need to get a room humidifier. I bought one of the Vick's cool air humidifier: https://vicks.com/en-us/shop-products/humidifiers-steam-inhalers/v3100-filtered-cool-moisture-humidifier When the furnace is running constantly during the bitter cold, I can get through 8 hours, no...

Re: Please Help! Going backwards?!

Looks to me that your OA events are happening while the pressure is down. The machine is not reacting fast enough to stop the events
I think if you raise the minimum pressure it should prevent them from happening in the first place.
I would also raise the min to 12.

Re: Mask Liner comparison

What do you suppose is the difference between the two? Is it the size or the type of material being used? Would it be the shape that the material is cut?
I would be interested in hear what the difference would be between the two.
What was the leak rate showing on sleepy head between the two?

Re: Few questions for someone suffering

Epap of 9 or worse 8 number is way to low.. It is not holding the airway open.

I would try it at EPap at 12 and see how the numbers go. Leave the ipap alone for now.

ipap of 22 isnt going to hurt you mine is at 23 and i am still alive.

I wish you well.
