Re: Sleepyhead gone NUTS AGAIN, any updates yet??
Rude?? I wake up and take a reading...and it is gone nuts again... I depend on knowing what is happening with my sleep cycles and I get a rude awaking..my readings are crazy..and for the third time. VERY FRUSTRATING.... Not something I wanted to see at 4 AM...it shocked me... I was not able to see ...

Re: Many Centrals at the end of the night
In the meantime...try to avoid the dozing sporadically like that if you can. I once helped a guy who was having stuff like you are seeing...all night long though. Scared the devil out of me. Come to find out he was doing a lot of laying in bed tossing and turning and half way sleeping so before pan...

Re: Many Centrals at the end of the night
Thanks for the input, everyone. Do you see these often or just occasionally? How are you feeling? Morning headache? So far this month I've had them 7 mornings out of the 12, so roughly half of my mornings. After 10 weeks, I'm finally feeling roughly the same as I did before therapy. (I hadn't notice...

Many Centrals at the end of the night
I'm about 8 weeks into therapy now and I'm finally starting to get my mask issues and sleep routine issues dialed in. Many nights I'll have an AHI below 8 (down from 59) until the morning when I'll have an extraordinary amount of centrals. http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/3406/i5c.png Digging deeper...

Re: Help Choosing a Mask
So last night was my best night ever since starting CPAP with an AHI of 2.1 on nearly 5 hours of sleep. I still had, what I can only assume are, mouth leaks but my mouth wasn't exceedingly dry or sore in the morning. Question: The wiki says http://www.cpaptalk.com/wiki/index.php/Mask_Leaks Warning a...

Re: Help Choosing a Mask
Thanks All, Re: Swift FX Squeaks I can't tell if they're from leaks or something else. Since it sounds like that's not typical, I'll assume that it's this particular loaner mask and not an innate characteristic of the model. Last night I found that it squeaked on exhale as I was falling asleep and i...

Help Choosing a Mask
First, my thanks to all the forum regulars. I've been lurking since I made my first visit with the sleep doctor and the conversations that I've read here have been extremely helpful through my first six weeks of CPAP. I'm seeking advice on masks. I'm a mouth-breather and back-and-side sleeper who ha...
