Don,
I apologize. Palerider is correct. I jumped in because I had an issue similar to yours, however, I did so without getting a full understanding beforehand.
Bad advice is worse than no advice at all. I hope you are able to resolve your issue quickly.

Re: air curve 10 asv settings
Don, I believe the minimum time inhale setting (TI Min) on your machine is set too high. The setting needs to be reduced from the existing setting. I would suggest reducing it in small increments until you are able to breath comfortably. If it’s set too low you will feel like you are gasping for air...

Re: OT: Medicare Advantage Plans
For me, the bottom line is stick with Medicare, not an Advantage Plan. Why? Medicare coverage is straight forward. If it’s a Medicare covered expense, Medicare will pay 80% of the cost. If it’s covered, it’s covered. The Doctor does not have to go to any insurance co. for prior approval or try to co...

Re: Shortness of breath
Mark, When I first started using my Aircurve 10 Vauto I would wake myself up gasping for air. I finally figured out that my machine was moving to exhale while I was still trying to inhale. Re: Swift LT question
Gparr,
If you can give the pillow a chance I think you may find it a good solution. I switched to pillows
because they are very simple and are least likely to leak. Just don't make them too tight.

S9 VPAP Auto Question
Just replaced the S8 VPAP Auto with the S9.On the first night of use I checked the results screen and realized the exhale and inhale pressures were running the same (no difference in the pressures). When I asked the Respiratory Tech about this I was told that everything was fine and that they were o...
