Re: Getting new mask -- how to sell old one?

Ahh, ok. I am thinking of donating it, then. Maybe it can help someone who is in a pickle who just needs *something*. Any ideas where to donate it? Thank you, all.

Getting new mask -- how to sell old one?

Hi, I tried to save money and got a Phillips Respironics mask on sale from CPAP.com and found that it doesn't fit my face properly. I just ordered a F&P Eson as that's the one I used in my sleep study. I would like to sell the first mask as I only used it a few times and it's still so new. I used it...

Re: New mask

I just ordered this one myself. I used it for my sleep study and it was so comfortable. I was trying to save money and got a Phillips Respironics one on sale but it hurts so bad I don't use it at all. Eson FTW:)

Re: Just got Intellipap Auto and need mask. Mask ideas?

I ended up just getting on off cpap.com as it was on sale half price. We'll see how it goes. I assume I'll probably have to try a couple of masks before I find Mr. Right haha. But I can't afford to mess about with ridiculous fees for DME's up here. I can buy multiple masks for less than it would cos...

Re: Severe allergic reaction!

Also you could be allergic to a certain combination of things. You could be not allergic to item 1 and item 2 but when used together, you're allergic. I hope you find the answer soon and sorry you had to go through that:(:(

Just got Intellipap Auto and need mask. Mask ideas?

I just got my Intellipap Auto Adjust and I didn't get a mask with it because I have only ever tried 2 masks (F&P full face and also a nasal https://www.cpap.com/productpage/fisher-paykel-eson-nasal-cpap-mask.html). I liked the Eson (small size) ok and all, but since I haven't actually tried anything...

Re: Feeling a little jerked around by suppliers

Wow it seems this sort of thing is par for the course with all sleep apneacs. (I just made that word up. I must wrangle the prescription out of the DME's hot little hands now which will take some elbow grease. I had the home sleep study and home titration through them without seeing a doctor yet (th...

Feeling a little jerked around by suppliers

The sleep place I went to keeps trying to get me to buy the ResMed S9 autoset which is of course a lovely machine but with the mask and all it comes out to like about $1800. My insurance covers only up to $1000 and I have to pay it out of pocket first then get reimbursed. I don't have $1800 just lay...

Re: Obamacare Explained in One Sentence

Our daughter nearly died almost two years ago from a bowel obstruction. She had just turned 23 at the time, was a student, and if she hadn't been on my husband's health insurance plan (thanks to Obamacare), I honestly think she would not have received the treatment she did and probably would have d...

Re: Obamacare Explained in One Sentence

I believe that all people are created equal. I don't think any race or nationality is superior. I don't agree with everything that goes on in my country but I still love it. I would expect everyone else to feel the same way about their country. I love my family but I don't agree with everything all...

Re: Obamacare Explained in One Sentence

Why do I get the feeling that Canadians have an extreme dislike for American. Please someone tell me I am wrong. I don't like thinking that at all. It is jealousy. They don't like that we get all the attention and have creative industries that do not exist in Canada, like motion pictures, TV, novel...

And to the one who doesn't like what is getting in Quebec my question is Why you don't return to Texas ? Stop torturing yourself, you will be able to have your toilet paper 10000000000 sheets. Well, shouldn't you also take the Canadian commenter to task for saying that America is "stupid" for not h...

Re: Obamacare Explained in One Sentence

As an American now living in Quebec, I can only say that Quebec is one messed up province. Taxes are 15%, $200 a head per year for the "free health care", a doctor shortage (took us only 2.5 years to get a family doctor), long wait times, crumbling roads and bridges, scandals galore (Charbonneau Com...

Finally -- my initial results

I just got the results from my sleep test (ResMed Apnea Link) and they said I had 26 events per hour and my saturation dipped to 85% on a few occasions. So I'm considered "moderate" (where does severe begin?). I start my titration study on Aug 7th, it lasts a week. It sucks that I have sleep apnea b...
