Re: How to restore 2 month compliance data on a REMstar SE
Den, the tech extracts the SD card and puts it in her laptop to review the hours my mom was using the REMstar SE. She also makes a copy of said SD card for insurance purposes, probably to have some proof that the REMstar SE was used indeed. So the proof is not some visually inspected blower hours, b...

Re: How to restore 2 month compliance data on a REMstar SE
As mentioned, she had to change insurances. The new insurance issued the REMstar SE, and demands that she use it for 2 month in order to keep it. If she fails, she would not get any supplies like oxygen, masks and the yearly sleepstudy. But all that is not important, maybe I shouldn't have mentioned...

Re: How to restore 2 month compliance data on a REMstar SE
As mentioned, she is on a Remstar now, but her data got lost due to format differences. Her insurance pays for everything, and in order to keep it that way, she has to show 2 month of data from the Remstar (and not her bloved S9). So the question is if somebody knows how the data structure of the RE...

How to restore 2 month compliance data on a REMstar SE
Hi all, my poor mom was/is using an S9 Resemed VPAP for a while, but due to insurance issues needed to switch to a REMstar SE. It's like going from a Mercedes to a Yugo. http://content.time.com/time/specials/2007/article/0,28804,1658545_1658533_1658529,00.html In order to continue getting her suppli...

Re: Resmed S9 Humidifier Tub Design Change?
The surface does not matter for bacteria or fungus. They can hold on to nearly any surface, even glass. Any polish either introduced or original would still have plenty of cracks for the say mycoplasma genitalium (300nm) to hold on. Wipe once over an excellent flat chrome surface and you have introd...

Re: How to keep S9 high resolution data on SD card
With the other method the Dr can review the updated stuff whenever he needs to. He actually prefers doing that, in his downtime. I sometimes drop off just the card. We had been discussing sending him a copy of the card on a weekly basis. But that is a hassle. I was thinking to email him the zipped w...

Re: How to keep S9 high resolution data on SD card
The detailed data is indeed available on my PC, at least as long as I used ResScan to read it. But I found no way to export it to a laptop. I tried several programs with which one can migrate stuff from one PC to the other, too. Problem with that is that the laptop is in W7 but my PC is Windoze XP a...

Re: How to keep S9 high resolution data on SD card
Bill, sad to see what experiences you had with your Drs to come to such a statement. Our Dr is really thorough, he takes his time and showed me the difference of the breathing patterns. And some reflow/reflexes and the dips in the O2 levels resulting from those disturbances (with a little delay). Bu...

Re: How to keep S9 high resolution data on SD card
Hi, thanks for the detailed info!! Yes, I am backing up the data every week. Simply a full copy of all the files/folders of that week. I just wanted to find out if it is known which folders/files actually are round robined. I would love to find a way to keep all the data so the Dr can look at it at ...

How to keep S9 high resolution data on SD card
Hi all, is there a way to keep the high resolution data on the SD card? From what the Dr told me, the S9 keeps deleting that data after a week (or was it a month?). Considering that these cards can go up to 2 GB, there should be plenty of space. I understand that I would need to copy the high res fi...

Re: Canping questions
The S9 series have several pressure sensors. A pair is used in a differencial way to measure the pressure in the out path. Being differential, it focuses only on the difference from one sensor to the other. It adjusts the (pump) motor so that that difference is the pressure it needs to pump out. Thi...

Yes, very interested, too.
What happened to the images in the posts?
All there is is an "Image", but the actual image is missing.
In case they got lost during website updates, did anybody save them to kindly upload again?
Please?
Thank you!

Re: Modify ResMed S9 Oximeter Adapter to work w/ Nonin Xpod 3012
Great work but sad that there are no pictures. Does your offer to upload pictures still stand? It would be really great if you could kindly upload a few! So this is basically just a connector mod? Or is the circuitry inside the "ResMed Oximeter Adapter" (in case there is one) simply bypassed? I am l...
