Re: No Taste Every Morning
It's definitely the allergy congestion dry mouth combo from mouth-breathing at night. If you're mouth-leaking with nasal pillows, your nasal passages dry out completely. Try a chin strap or mouth tape before burning your tongue with horseradish!

Re: Are these wipes safe to use on a mask?
Just make sure they don't leave an oily residue from the Aloe/Vitamin E that breaks down the silicone seal. Unscented baby wipes or plain water work best long-term!

Re: Considering Using CBD Gummies
Ended up on this thread after a brutal night of tearing my CPAP mask off at 3 AM. I know this topic has been sitting here since 2024, but honestly, the struggle with mask anxiety is so real that I felt compelled to share what finally worked for me. I was super close to asking my doctor for Ambien, b...

Re: Yawning when I take my mask off
It could be, but consistent yawning and increased events might suggest something else going on, like oxygen levels not staying optimal during sleep or your pressure settings needing a review. Even with a good seal, sometimes adjustments are needed over time

Re: New CPAP user looking for feedback
Since you’re still feeling sleepy during the day, there are a few things to consider beyond just bumping pressure. If your AHI is still higher than ideal on OSCAR (say, above 5), raising your minimum pressure from 7 to 8–9 could help, especially if events are clustering early in the night. However, ...

Re: User adjust resmed units
Yes, you can adjust ResMed settings yourself by entering the clinical menu. Just hold the dial and home button together for a few seconds to unlock it. From there, you can tweak pressures just like on the DreamStation. If you prefer fixed pressure, the AirSense 11 works well and has good tracking fe...

Re: HELP: Sudden drastic worsening of Sleep Apnea - Can't sleep at all, CPAP completely useless
I’ve had a much milder version of something similar, my sleep was wrecked for weeks after Covid, and the airway tightness at night was very real. What finally helped me calm things down and start sleeping again was a combination of melatonin and CBD, specifically a strain that helps with airway rela...

Re: Old Machine Still Useful?
If your insurance will cover a new one, it might be worth upgrading. As for keeping the old machine as a backup, that could be a good idea for now, especially since you found the manual and ordered that filter

Re: Mask leaks
Try adjusting the mask straps while lying on your side, since side-sleeping can cause it to shift.
If your CPAP has an “Auto” mode, it might be worth trying that too, or adjusting the ramp settings, since higher pressure can sometimes cause more leaks with a full face mask

Anyone tried CBD oil for their back pain? Thinking of trying it. Found a clinic here in the UK, Mamedica, and I need to go for a consultation. I'll keep you updated.

Resmed 11-connection problems
Hello, a few days ago I switched to resmed autoset 11 (from 10) and I'm encountering some problems. I like how it works, but I would like to connect it via bluetooth to the myAir application on Android and I can't, maybe I'm doing something wrong. It shows me that it connects via bluetooth through a ...

New machine needed!!!
Hello from a Europe user, I haven't been here for a while. So, I need a new auto-Cpap machine and I can't decide; 10AutoSet or 11autoset ??? -now I'm running on a 10 autoCpap but I would do an upgrade if it's worth it. On the other hand, I would save some money if I buy the 10 Air auto, but maybe 11...

Re: HDM Z1 CPAP (just purchased)
The device has a quality feel to it, it is made in the USA. I have it set on an exhalation relief setting of 3 and a CPAP setting of 8. I can't use APAP due to central apneas. It seems to synchronize with my breathing as well as my ResMed S10. The only thing I'm having trouble with is the Nitelog a...
