A DME is a company who sells, sets up, and manages xPAP and other medical devices. Your doctor typically writes the prescription, and the DME sets up the device accordingly.

Had my first sleep study night before last after my current girlfriend, who is an MA at a neurology practice, finally kicked my butt enough about my habit of not breathing while I sleep. Now I wish I had done this years ago. Had 73 apnea events per hour...
