Re: How long did it take for CPAP results to show?

I've only been using my CPAP for a few days, but for me the difference was immediately obvious. I'm not springing out of bed singing and dancing or anything like that, and I still want to beat cheerful morning people half to death for the first hour or so, but it's not taking as much effort for me t...

PR REMstar Pro cellular modem/SD card question

Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this, but I figured I'd ask. My DME installed a cellular modem for compliance checking on my REMstar. That's fine, I like the idea, but it covers up the SD card slot and I want to play with SleepyHead. I know how to pop the modem out to get to the card, but...

Re: SleepyHead and Mac

Also, if you don't want to shell out for MS Office you may be able to just use LibreOffice. Supports opening/saving excel files (and Word, PowerPoint, etc), and generally works 100% as long as you're not doing anything crazy macro wise. I use it at work because I run Linux on my workstation instead ...

Welcome to the forum! Work all your issues here. Finding a comfortable mask that doesn't leak is the key to successful therapy. I ran my wife outta' the bedroom, but after starting therapy, she's moved back in. When she wants to smooch me, she'll just smooch the mask! Gotta love it! Sheriff Thanks....

Re: need a compliance report

A DME is a company who sells, sets up, and manages xPAP and other medical devices. Your doctor typically writes the prescription, and the DME sets up the device accordingly.

Re: New user saying hello

Thanks Yeah, I've had a string of girlfriends tell me about it for better than a decade, this one was finally just persistent enough, due to her medical background, to overcome my inertia. Switching girlfriends didn't solve the problem, huh? Never worked for any of my problems, either ... Always se...

Re: New user saying hello

Thanks

I'm not sure if mine really wants to keep me around and breathing, or just wanted to get rid of the snoring... maybe a little of both

New user saying hello

Just joined the forum and wanted so say hello. Had my first sleep study night before last after my current girlfriend, who is an MA at a neurology practice, finally kicked my butt enough about my habit of not breathing while I sleep. Now I wish I had done this years ago. Had 73 apnea events per hour...
