Hose is pointed down towards the feet. And I know it's not blowing very well because when I unkink it, bam a blast of air comes towards me.

I'm a relative newbie to all this. I've had my machine and mask a little less than a month. Recently I've been waking up in the middle of the night with the hose getting kinked, or I'm laying on it or it gets caught around the edge of my nightstand all of which means there's not much air blowing at ...

Thanks y'all for all the suggestions.
Good news I slept for a full 6 hours last night with the mask/machine. That's a full nights sleep for me!
