Re: Broken PR60?
It doesn't really work that way -- my DME re-set the start to 9. So now the machine is set at 9/20 instead of 4/20. The optistart feature is supposed to kick in after 30 hours of use to raise or lower the start pressure based on what the computer in the machine calculates is ideal based on AHI, etc...

I used to sleep on my side, but now I sleep only on my back, this is partially due to other medical problems I have as well.

I use the Hose Buddy system. It works great fir me. There are cheaper hose management systems available but I wanted one that was the most sturdy and looked good.

I find it interesting if the military doesn't disqualify for sleep apnea any more. Do they put apneacs on restricted duty or provide some sort of backup batteries as needed?

I too was unable to import directly from my card for some reason. I just created a folder on my computer and I drag the folder from the card and put it in that folder, then import from there. Works with no problem.

First - I like the avatar! Seriously, it's an avatar. Who cares. Second - how is sleep apnea 'service related'??? This statement makes no sense to me. I think everyone here would agree that our OSA was NOT caused by our employment. Jen There DoD instruction that states that DoD takes responsibility...

Absolutely -- it's outrageous. +$1B in costs to the taxpayers as a result of this scam, they should definitely put an end to such fraud and abuse of the system. How many other crippled servicemen cant get the services they need because of these folks trying to take advantage of the system to get 'd...

But, the VA says no. 50+20=60 60+10=64 64+10=67.6 67.6+10=70.84 The VA would rate the vet at 70% So if a vet was rated for anything that was the ...

Thanks for the reply Jeff. It looks like the total face mask may be my only option since I can't really breath through my nose right now. It just looks so bulky.
