I just take turn it off and take the mask off. The mask I use slips right over my head like putting on a hat. That said, I rarely do this anymore. I haven't needed to get up and use the bathroom but maybe 10 times in the last 3 months I've been on CPAP. Previously I'd get up at least twice a night.

Mask bits are supposed to last 30 days. Or at least that's the minumum my insurance will pay for replacements. After only a couple weeks though it seems any mask starts to get worse and start to leak. The latest example is after I did my 2 week cleanup. Hoses, mask, headgear...the works. All in soap...

I use a saline spray and an aloe based moisturizer. It does dry me out, but its bearable and its better than being plugged.
