he hears "a hurricane" if the seal is broken. If I open my mouth or turn so the seal is not complete he hears the air. I wonder if that is what your husband might be hearing.

I am to the point with my new set up that I actually feel better with the CPAP ON!
I didn't think that would EVER be the case.

Have you ever tried Instant Ocean for your dry nose?
That seems to be a better idea that the vaseline.
You can use it in addition to the humidifier.

From what I have been told, YES it is dangerous to NOT .....
use your CPAP. You can end up with serious lung and heart problems as a result of long turn sleep apnea. I agree it is hard to get used to. If you absolutly can not get used to it, I would say you are using the wrong mask. There are so many out there, you WILL find one you can tolerate . Good Luck a...

When I was first dx. my Dr. recommended they us a "Adaptive servo flow generator device, not yet approved for use in the US". Do you know anything about this device?

I have OSA plus CSA. I was wondering how many of you also have central sleep apnea? I am really unsure what the treatment is for CSA.

I was wondering if there are others using a cpap with C-Flex?
I got a new cpap machine recently and I LOVE the new feature.
I had a LOT of trouble getting used to using my cpap.
I finally found a mask that works for me.
It is wonderful to be able to go to bed and actually get some rest!
