My husband tells me "You're leaking" .............

he hears "a hurricane" if the seal is broken. If I open my mouth or turn so the seal is not complete he hears the air. I wonder if that is what your husband might be hearing.
Good luck!

Here is my suggestion................

https://www.cpap.com/productpage.php?PNum=1495
I have tried several different masks and this is #1 by far for me.
You can wear it over your head or down the front. You can sleep on your sides, stomach or back.
Good luck.

I wanted to say ...............

I am to the point with my new set up that I actually feel better with the CPAP ON!
I didn't think that would EVER be the case.
If you are fighting with your system do NOT give up.
If I can get to this point I an sure everyone can!

I have a question...................

Have you ever tried Instant Ocean for your dry nose?
That seems to be a better idea that the vaseline.
You can use it in addition to the humidifier.
Good luck!

From what I have been told, YES it is dangerous to NOT .....

use your CPAP. You can end up with serious lung and heart problems as a result of long turn sleep apnea. I agree it is hard to get used to. If you absolutly can not get used to it, I would say you are using the wrong mask. There are so many out there, you WILL find one you can tolerate . Good Luck a...

Central sleep apnea?

I have OSA plus CSA. I was wondering how many of you also have central sleep apnea? I am really unsure what the treatment is for CSA.
My sleep Dr. up and left town so I can't ask him.
Thanks for your help.

Symptoms

I read others asking for symptoms of sleep apnea. I am a lupus patient so I attributed my severe fatigue to that. The symptom that got me to a sleep test was the shortness of breath I started having. I would lay on the bed and have to quickly sit up to be able to breath. I also have asthma and am on...

C-Flex

I was wondering if there are others using a cpap with C-Flex?
I got a new cpap machine recently and I LOVE the new feature.
I had a LOT of trouble getting used to using my cpap.
I finally found a mask that works for me.
It is wonderful to be able to go to bed and actually get some rest!
