Re: OT - Obamacare
Then you are kind of jumping the gun aren't you? You don't know yet that your spouse's employer is going to adopt the same plan, as least you haven't said that WILL be the case. UPS is making this move as a cost cutting move. To tie it to Obamacare makes a politically convenient excuse, otherwise t...

Re: OT - Obamacare
I do not work for UPS and neither does my spouse. I'm not sure what your point is here...ChicagoGranny wrote:Just because you want something does not mean that UPS should give it to you.

Re: OT - Obamacare
That is the most inane statement that I've seen in a while. It is most certainly Obamacare's fault that I will pay more for less coverage - which puts me in the same boat as most of the country...ChicagoGranny wrote:It's not the fault of UPS or Obamacare that your employer's insurance is "expensive and sucks".

Re: OT - Obamacare
"If you like your healthcare plan, you can keep it. Period!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfl55GgHr5E 15,000 spouses of UPS employees just put the lie to that statement: http://money.cnn.com/2013/08/21/news/companies/ups-obamacare/ I'm probably in the same boat. I have coverage through my spouse'...

Re: Rescan Question
Actually, my machine only appears to be storing 6 months of data. I'm thinking of upgrading to an S9 after Jan. 1.Pugsy wrote:The machine should store 1 years' worth of compliance usage data and thus transfer it to the software.

Re: Rescan Question
I can change the date range in "Review", but the Summary Graph range doesn't change...
The statistical summary does show the correct data.

Rescan Question
I've finally figured out how to get the data out of a an S8 Compact. Seems you only insert the smart card to allow the machine to copy data over, then you remove the card. Anyway, I've installed Rescan v4.3.0.7081 on my computer and everything works fine except the Summary Graphs on the report. They...

Re: Replacement for S8 Compact with better data logging
Do you currently travel with machine + humidifier or just machine? I'm wondering if size factors in for you. Just the machine. Size is important. I travel quite a bit and I like to pack light. I'd also like a 12V option, so I could dispense with the inverter. The S9 might be a good possibility. A q...

Re: Replacement for S8 Compact with better data logging
Thanks for the replies. The S8 Compact does not have a smart card. It has a com port where the smart card would be. When you pull off the rear cover, there's a section of the motherboard that extends back with traces on it. The section of motherboard is about the shape of a smart card, but the Resme...

Replacement for S8 Compact with better data logging
New to the forum. I'm on my third machine(16 years), a Resmed S8 Compact, but I'd like to get a similar machine with better data logging capabilities. I'm a private pilot, so I need the compliance data printout once a year for the FAA. There's one tech at my sleep doc's that knows how to pull compli...
