Re: Old Machine Still Useful?
You can always remove the foam that is the reason for the recall. It is a pretty easy thing to do for this version of machine.

Have you tried something like the offerings that Pad A Cheek has or is it a reaction due to pressure?

Re: Low voltage/machine reset
I did try a new outlet in a different room and its the same result. The machine has 23,000 hours so it may be coming to an end. Luckily I have the upgraded Bipap ASV Advanced 960 machine as backup with only like 800 hours on it. I am going to have to remove the foam on this one like I did the other ...

Low voltage/machine reset
My ASV Respironics machine keeps resetting when turning on. After a few attempts/resets it stays on. I tried switching power cords which had a difference appearance to the original and it turned on normally, however about 15 minutes in, the machine beeped and said low voltage. What should I do? Shou...

Respironics ASV to Resmed ASV difficulty
Hello, I want to make the switch to the Resmed ASV but am hesistant because I dread having to get through the transistion phase when my body learns to accept the new machine and how it slightly operates differently. My question is, how long does it typically take to switch machines and have your bod...

Re: Husband says CPAP is scary and unattractive...
Your husband is pretty delusional about the effectiveness of your machine. Sounds like instead of learning about your device and your sleep needs he just rejects you and your needed machine. That to me sounds like someone who can't make small mental adjustments in their life and that is what is trul...

Re: Help with ASV settings…
I feel like all ASVs dont feel natural. I mean with Resmed youll probably adapt either but I can tell you Respironics was really difficult for me to get used to. But once you do it is amazing

Re: Replace a Dead ResMed CPAP machine
I bought a Resmed 10 Aircurve ASV for $500 with 800 hrs on Facebook marketplace. They usually do have lots of great offerings there. I recommend. Re: How to buy a used cpap
Understood, yeah I mean you can buy machines with a little as 100 hours or as much as 15,000. You would also buy a new hose and filters. I think some places thoroughly clean them before selling them. But yeah like you said you would need to know what to look for. I wish I had the money for a new on...

Re: ASV keeps restarting
I just did and it still happens. Is the power supply supposed to be kind of little hot but not too hot after running it for like 5 minutes? When I turned on the machine it was running normally and then after like 5 minutes it started resseting itself. I ordered a used power supply on EBay does anyon...
