Re: Aloha nasal
First night on the Aloha nasal. Slept very well. Mask was very comfy, no leaks. AHI score of 1.0 this morning. May have found a winner here.

Aloha nasal
Hello all; After nine months my swift LT, is about wore out. Looking at the cost of new headgear, and a couple of pillows, I decided a new mask was not much more money. I have a Aloha nasal pillow unit ordered. I searched in the forum for opinions on this mask. Anybody else has some pro's/con's? May...

New Swift FX
I tried my new Swift FX last night. Two hours later, I was back on my Swift LT. Two problems I had with the FX. 1.) Could not get 100% seal while on my side. Used nasal gel as well. 2.) The lower strap, back of my head always wanted to rise up towards the top of my head. Caused the feeling that the ...

Re: TAP PAP arrived today
Tried the Tap Pap last night. One hour later I was back on the Swift LT. I re-sized the mouthpiece three times to get it right. No luck. Either to small and hurt my teeth, or too big and would drop off the front of my teeth. Could not seem to find the sweet spot for zero leakage either. Put the LT o...

Re: How Much Did Your Sleep Study Cost?
My deductible is $5000, so my sleep study was on my dime.
sleep study $2587.00
dr fees $ 337.00
total $ 2924.00
What a rip off, then it cost me $800 to get out of the DME with my equipment.
No wonder the medical system in this country is a sham.

TAP PAP arrived today
Hello; I have been using the Swift LT. It has worked fine except I don't like my hair getting caught in the headgear when making an adjustment. Noticed some of you use the TAP PAP. Decided to research it, and order. Any tips on the sizing of the mouth guard, or any tips that will help me overall, wi...

Re: Newbie saying hello.
Thanks Jim. I appreciate the info. No to the diabetic issue. After my second doctor visit next month, I hope to switch to a card. We will see what doctor says. Other than the bathroom visits, I have been happy with the results. Alert all day, and no more killer morning headaches. I am keeping a posi...

Re: Newbie saying hello.
Ok Pugsy, thank you. I will wait to see if the doc wants modem removed next month. As it is, doc made copies for me of first months results. That is how I was made aware of my AHI scores for first month use.

Re: Newbie saying hello.
Ok, I have updated my equipment. The machine info did not transfer from my profile. The machine is a REMstar Pro C-Flex+. The REF# is 460P. Build date is 20121114. Sorry but I have no clue as to any software. The unit has a Phillips Respironics modem to send info to doctors office. Hope this helps. ...

Re: Newbie saying hello.
That is very possible. I am at work. I will check my equipment notice and fix that in the morning. The machine I have uses a wireless modem to my doctor. The results are accurate, i have them with me at this time. My hose is all one color, no black end. Thanks for the reply.

Hi my name is Jeff. 55 yr old male from Wi. Sleep study results in late February, showed that I have severe OSA with a score of 40.3. I started my cpap use on March 18.
