Got my Aircurve 10 ST
I picked up my Aircurve 10 ST on Thursday along with the Amara View mask. My AHI last night was only 1.48 which is the best it has been in a very very long time. Still trying to get used to the constant change from 20 to 10 with each breath but I'm getting there. I really like the ease of use with t...

Re: Sleep Study results
One of my sleep doctors is also a lung specialist and the only issue with my lungs is my asthma and it is only illness induced. I live in a very dry area and never empty the humidifier overnight. Most nights it is still half full. Hopefully when I get the new machine next week things will improve. I...

Re: Sleep Study results
I've been using my full face mask an airfit F10 that I normally use when I am sick in hopes that it would help but nope.

Re: Sleep Study results
Does the Aircurve work with Sleepyhead? I changed my setting on my current machine to 20/10 until I get the new one. But I am having a huge issue with dry mouth and throat to the point I wake up gasping for air and rip the mask off. I have the humidifier set to max and there is also humidity with th...

Re: Sleep Study results
Hi Pugsy, Yes I am still in Colorado. May be moving to Idaho or Montana in a couple of years. Thanks for all the info. I will look at the blog. I forgot to mention that I still have to use 3L of oxygen at night. No matter what pressure they used they couldn't get my sats up without it. The doctor do...

Sleep study last night
Hi everyone, Well I had my sleep study last night. They didn't like the way my mask, eson nasal, fit so they had me try the dreamwear and I really liked it. I Was suppose to have the mslt today but they canceled it as they made significant changes to my therapy. ( wouldn't tell me what). I know that...

Long time since I was here last
Hi everyone, It has been a long time since I was on this forum. I had to reset my password. LOL. Since I was here last I have been changed to BiPAP almost 2 years ago. I just had a sleep study this past April due to excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) and they increased my pressures to 16/12. I used ...

I have very minimal leaks. According to sleepyhead my average is less than 1. My mask is a wisp.

Update... Nocturnal O2 and Bipap therapy
Hi everyone, I had my nocturnal O2 study last night and got the results today. Spent 47.2% of the night below 90. Longest single stretch below 90 was 26 minutes. So I will be continuing to use 2.5L of oxygen at night. As for the Bipap therapy itself I am still throwing a lot of centrals with the AHI...

I did put the SD card in the machine but it never wrote the data for that night onto the card. A setting in the machine maybe?

Re: Got my Bipap a few days ago.
Thank you. I played around with it in all 3 settings and I seemed to like Bi-flex 1 the best. I slept pretty good last night.
Unfortunately I forgot to put the SD card in the machine and now nothing to download to sleepyhead.

Got my Bipap a few days ago.
I finally got my Bipap on Tuesday. I made sure it had zero machine use hours and visually checked the settings and made sure it was not locked. It was set at 16/11 with ps 2 -5 and biflex of 2 with the first week on room air. The first night was rough. It wanted me to breath faster than I normally d...

Re: Sleep Study Results... sort of
You might consider gettig your own pulse oximeter as some of us have. CMS makes several models available for about $100 to $180. This will allow you to monitor your O2 levels every night if you choose. I don't think a 1 or 2 night study is enough, especially if they add supplemental O2. I was unhap...
