Thanks - I did. I'm still in the dark and when I go back to my Pulmonary Dr. I am going to ask him. Thanks - I love reading this site - realy helps me feel like I'm not alone.

Thank you - will be in a motor home with generator but told generator will not run all night. Thanks for the input - I will research further on line.

power supply for camping trip

I will be going on a camping trip and will need a power supply. I looked into the batter packs and they are costly. Does any one know if you can rent them? Should I go thru my DME for that.

new to cpap

I an a newbie - since March. Is it normal to still feel like you are wearing the apparatus long after you have taken it off. Do you get used to it? It's just a funny feeling like I'm wearing glasses.

cold & coughing

I am a newbie - 7 days on CPap - I have a cold and sore throat and last nigh was coughing a lot. Is it normal to get a sore throat when you are new to this? My AHI has been running in the 1.5 range but last night was 2.9. I don't recall waking up a lot but think I was coughing a lot.

Good to read your post. I also have struggled with weight for many years and about 3 years ago decided I'd had enough. I started eating healty and exercising regularly and have lost over 100 pounds. My Dr's have been very happy with this.I would like to lose 20 more, but I'm really ok where I'm at. ...

To Caffeinatedcfo - I luv luv coffee and only the real thing. I try to cut if off by mid afternoon so it doesn't keep me awake but maybe I need to stop sooner. Anyone have input on this.I don't dring sodas at all.

Thanks all - I'm such a newbie I don't even know what ahi mean except that is should be less than 5. My ahi has been from1.5 to 3.5.I have now had 4 nights on the cpap and wake up a lot.
