Re: Has your sleep time changed since CPAP?
Hi, I know I used to sleep in alot on the weekends, and during the work week was so groggy in the mornings (well all day really) but now I'm up by 6 or 7am tops, and ready for my day! It's amazing how much more you can get done in a day when you don't need to sleep in.

Re: Wisp??
Hi All! I got the Swift FX Nano, and LOVE it! It is so light and I have very little problems with leaks. Occasionally I might get a bit of a leak at the bridge of my nose, but all I do it tuck that area of the mask in and I'm back to sleep. I tried the Wisp, but it was just too much mask for me. Too...

UPDATE - ResMed Swift FX NANO?
Hi All, Just wanted to update the NANO thread. So The other day my supplier called and told me they had a Swift Fx NANO put aside for me to try. I was previously trying the Eson, and the Swift Fx. (In my area we have a trial period, before being put on you "own" machine and mask). I liked both masks...

ResMed Swift FX NANO?
Hi Everyone! Just wondered if anyone has heard of, Seen or tried the ResMed Swift FX NANO ? I have tried the Swift FX with the nasal pillows and quite liked it, although after a week, my nostrils were sore. I have chosen to stick to a nasal mask, and this one seems quite promising? At the moment I a...

Re: How do I get past the suffocation feeling?
Hi All, Sorry, but all of this is all so overwhelming... I'm wondering if my trepidation to the therapy is because, over the past two years I have lost my sister (to Cancer) and my Mother (to depression from the loss of her daughter, and more). Maybe I need to talk to a professional about all of the...

Re: How do I get past the suffocation feeling?
Hi All! Thanks for all your suggestions! I assume the settings on the machine have been set so that after my "trial", they will be able to set the machine for what I need. One question, if it's set from 5-20 does that mean it starts out at 5 and hits 20 at some point? Or only gives me 20 if I need i...

Re: How do I get past the suffocation feeling?
Hi Pugsy, Thanks for your reply. I am still in the trial stage of this whole thing. I was given a Phillips Restonic System1? The first mask I tried was a Zest nasal? The last two nights I've tried the Swift FX (which is so much nicer - but hard to get used too) with the small nasal pillow, and tonig...

How do I get past the suffocation feeling?
Hi, I am VERYnew to this CPAP thing. How does one get past the suffocation feeling prior to falling asleep? I've tried a nasal mask and am now trying the Swift FX. I would really like to try the Phillips Respironics Wisp. Any opinions would help!
