F&P Icon+

I just bought a F&P Icon APAP about a month ago to replace my old CPAP. The problem I'm having is the InfoUSB is not recording the full nights data. Most nights it will on store a few hours of data instead of the 5 or 6 hours of use that I typically use the machine. I'm using the Sleepyhead software...

Re: My first night on CPAP (and a "thank you")

I haven't been on the site lately but wanted to reply when I saw your post. When I did my sleep study my AHI was 85. The mask liners made all the difference in the world to me getting comfortable with the mask. It will feel better and stop most of the leaks. I've been using them for almost 2 years n...

Re: My first 0.0

I do feel more rested. I don't feel wiped out mid day like I used to. Have only taken two naps since I started therapy. I've come along way from the AHI of 85 at my sleep study.

Re: New user with sore nose

Like Pugsy said, no idea what mask you are using. I had the same problem but it was because I had the wrong size mask. I needed a medium size instead of the large. To keep it from leaking I had to tighten the straps too much which made the mask put to much pressure on the bridge of my nose. After 3 ...

Weird but funny dream

Early this morning i was dreaming that I was driving down the road and I saw a orange snake the floor. I opened the door and reached down to throw it out and it coiled back right at my face. Next thing I know I jerk the hose off my mask and throw it on the bedroom floor. Thank goodness it has the qu...

Re: Realistic Goal

I wanted to post last nights results. It's kind of ironic they are as good as they are since my mask and I went to war last night. Oh well.

Re: Realistic Goal

Yeah I know. I had about a thirty minute span there where everything went to hell. I remember waking up around then but figured I woke myself up from not breathing. I'm going to keep it at this pressure for a week our more to see what happens. I am feeling better though so that's good.

Re: Realistic Goal

@SleepWellCPAP - To answer your question I am feeling better each day. More energy, more alert and no more sneaking a nap after lunch.
@Pugsy - I attached last nights results.
Thanks All.

Realistic Goal

I have had my cpap now for 2 weeks. I have adjusted well to it, since I got the correct size mask, and feeling not as tired all the time. I started out with a pressure of 13 and my AHI was in the teens. I upped the pressure to 14 and my AHI dropped to about 7.5 on average. Again I upped the pressure...

Re: When should I be getting the results from my sleep test

It took a month from when I had my sleep study to get my appt. to get the machine. I know it took 3 weeks for them to get the test results to my doctor. They were very responsive to get me in for the sleep study and to get the machine to me but drug their feet when $$$ was not involved.

Re: Sleep study results

After getting the correct size mask, last night went great. At my sleep study they had used a large mask. Being a big guy (6'3" 240 lb.) I guess they assumed I would need a large. No one ever used the sizing gauge to determine the right size. Monday I went by cpap.com to get one of those gel pads fo...
