I have a question about the Resmed Airsense 10 Water Chamber...
I see that there are 2 models. One is dishwasher safe while the other isn't. I stumbled upon a whole bunch of comments on different sites where the chamber would leak. Part #37299 (Not dishwasher safe) - Cost is roughly $40 Part # 37479 (Dishwasher Safe) - Cost is roughly $20 Intuitively, I would th...

Re: Wife unable to tolerate CPAP noise.... Help!!!!
It should not be necessary to isolate and try to sound proof the machine itself...both my ResMed S9 VPAP and AirCurve 10 do not make any real noise. I would also be wary of accidentally blocking any vents for intake/exhaust. I would first try a different mask, such as the ResMed P10 nasal pillows -...

Re: Wife unable to tolerate CPAP noise.... Help!!!!
Sorry. 560P. My model # is DS6HFLG That's the humidifier model number....not the machine blower model number. Since you mention AFlex I know you are using the apap model....so it's going to be either the model 550 or 560...which is it? If it is the model 550....the newer machines are indeed quieter ...

Re: HELP: DESPERATE. Need creative fix for mask fit! Pay $$$
One last question.
I have a small mouth. I see that the mouthpiece can be molded in hot water.
Anybody have an issue with a mouthpiece too big?
If this ends up working I will be sending JDS74 the prize $$$$.
I will know in a week or so when I try it....
Thanks everybody.

Re: HELP: DESPERATE. Need creative fix for mask fit! Pay $$$
I saw the video for the Tap Pap mask and am curious.
I need a full mask because I am a mouth breather and normally wear a bite plate.
Does the bite plate with the mask force one to keep their mouth closed?

At present I have 5 serious health issues occurring simultaneously. I usually wear Full Mask CPAP at night but stopped a month ago because of Bell's Palsy which causes pain around right ear. I have serious lung issues and must start using CPAP at night. I tried the last 2 nights but the right strap ...

Re: FS: UNUSED RESMED S8 AUTOSET VANTAGE, HUMIDAIRE, MASK + ACC
I got it in 2008. As far as the value, I listed it on ebay but learned about their policies on medical equipment and the listing was terminated.
May I ask what is a fair value for this unit?

FS: UNUSED RESMED S8 AUTOSET VANTAGE, HUMIDAIRE, MASK = $300
Hi there, I am selling an unused CPAP machine that has been sitting in my closet. The doctor wrote a script for one and I never used it. I have taken multiple photos of the unit and accessories. Everything you see in the photos is included. I should note that the mask is an Ultra Mirage II and also ...
