Is the Wisp a nasal pillow or a nasal mask?

I remember that they said I desated down to 70 in rm air. Apparently I also had a high number of apneic events every time I went into REM I would stop breathing. I was introduced to the nasal mask about 2 hrs into my study.
I woke with the best energy level the next morning.

Can one use an air conditioner type filter (cut to size of course) as a DYI solution for a replacement filter in my S9 machine?
I cannot find any info on what the filter is on net searches.
