Re: TMJ and Full Face Masks

I have TMJ also, I used the Forma FF mask due to the fact it helped with the mouth breathing, it has a lip at the chin but in the summer it's too hot. I switched to the Resmed AirFit P10 for Her, it's like wearing nothing, misses all those tender place on my jaw, I'm still a mouth breather but worki...

Re: Free masks less postage

I want to express my condolences at your loss. I'm sure the loss of a spouse is almost unbearable. I would like to have the Mirage Liberty masks. I have been wanting to try it, but hate to spend the money right now. I have been in treatment for less than two months, and have already purchased two m...

Re: H5I auto shut off when empty?

Check your hose. If the machine is turning on and off it could be the hose. I got this info from ResMed tech support, which I blew off, replace the H51, when it happened again I check the hose, sure enough the hose must of had a small defect, replaced it, been going great for the last 6 months, even...

Re: At my wits end

Hi, I have been using the Forma with the Anti leak strap for 5 months, the strap made a big improvement. I can't keep my mouth from opening while I sleep so I'm pretty much stuck with this mask. I find the mask to be quiet unless the hose is in front of the exit vents that are above the swivel, Next...

Re: Fundoplication surgery and CPAP use

Hi, I had this surgery in 1995, best thing I ever did, it was just being tested back then. Longevity of the surgery is approximately 10 years. I'm coming up on 20 years since the surgery, no reflux. It's a little tough right after the surgery but a warm cup of water when you eat is very helpful. I d...

Re: Very scared because I don't know what is going on

My machine was doing the same thing, had it replaced in July, worked fine. Last week the new machine started turning off again on me, I called Resmed asked if there was any know issues, said no, wanted to know if I wanted to talk to tech support, said sure. Fellow there started out treating me like ...

Re: Anyone tackle nocturnal bruxism?

Hi, Just starting to face this myself, been grinding my teeth for years and wearing night guards. Started CPAP in March of this year, TMJ pain was out of control by September, the neurologist I'm seeing is also a specialist is sleep dentistry. At my first appointment he ordered MRI of brain and neck...

Just sent a note to Karen at Pad a Cheek

I ordered the Anti-Leak Strap from Pad a Cheek, used it last night, didn't wake up once, worked GREAT. I use a Forma FFM due to chin drop and the little leaks would wake me up all night long. Some nights I think I slept with my hand on the mask so I didn't wake up my hubby! I have tried other produc...

Re: S9 Stops and Starts

Several weeks ago my S9 Elite started doing the same thing, I was not having high leaks but did have the Smart Start turned on. I turned the Smart Start off but the machine kept stopping several times during the night. I know the mask was on and I had not gotten up or turned off the machine. DME gav...

Re: Jaw Dropping

Hi, I have been having the same problem, I would rather use nasal pillows but getting great results with the Forma Full Face Mask Fisher & Paykel, it has a small lip that fits under your chin just enough to keep your jaw from dropping. I tried their other model the FlexiFit HC431 but it leaked into ...

Re: Swift FX Pillows Maintenance

My pillows are lasting about the same, 2 weeks. After about 1week I put plumber O-rings on the barrels, it seems to help a bit as they start to collapse. I tried the Pad a cheek cozie, seemed like I had more leaks. I wash daily....germaphobe LOL
So lucky to have great insurance.
