Re: Do You Go To Your Sleep Doctor If You Are Doing Well

Great advice; however, I think that you should Grab your Hat and Get your Coat.

If I found a $100.00 bill on the street, I certainly wouldn't quit looking.

What's the Harm in going?

Have a Good Day,

... Again I want to Thank everyone for their comments. I have a Manometer, and both of the machines I have are set on 17cmH2O. The Manometer Readings off of both machines are the same 24mph. I am going to check a friends machine this week that is set for 6cmH20. I will let everyone know the results....

17 cmH2O is how many MPH in air flow ?

... Hi everybody, its been a while. After 10 months I no longer Ramp; however, I still sleep with a Oximeter. I still upload my Resmed SD and Oximeter data every morning and although I haven't address large mask leaks as yet I plan on doing just that in another month. Thanks to CPAP I am sleeping be...

Re: Anyone here lose weight successfully after starting CPAP?

CPAP therapy has certainly helped me. I was tried all the time and didn't workout at all. I use to workout daily until I felt like I was always walking up hilld even when I was walking down them. I started Sleeping Better about two weeks after I started with my CPAP therapy. It's been 3 months and I...

Re: my update: not much better with the CPAP

If you are thinking about getting a new mask you might want to look at the Wisp. I have been using one for a few nights and the data that I am now getting seems to be much better than what I was getting while using the ResMed's Micro Nasal Mask, and this mask is so small it's hardly a mask. My press...

I will try to do better.

Have a good day, and I'm glad that you heard from Pugys.

Re: Where did all the help GO??

Don't now how much help I can give you, but try sending Pugys a PM. That this first place I would look. Now as to your feeling like you are suffocating more than likely you are, and that is why you are tearing off your mask. I would suggest that you start wearing an Oximeter while you sleep. That sh...

Nasal vs. Full Face

Hi everybody. I have a ResMed S9 auto and my pressure is now set at 17 and it can go up to 20, which it does from time to time. I always wear a CMS50D+ Oximeter just to keep up with my O2 level. At this time it stays around 94%. If I have major leaks it goes down to 93% and without any leaks up to 9...

Re: First Month Down

caffeinatedcfo, sounds good. Everybody that gets into this business must have mask issues to start with. Yes, you're right this site is great. You sound sort of like me in one sense, and that is when I started I wasn't going to quit come h--l or high water, if I could help it. I guess the rule never...

Re: Going to War with DME again This Morning

This thread seems to be getting to the heart of “should DMEs tell us up-front or should they just let us find out on our own about the equipment that we are paying them for ?” Like me when I found out that I had a machine that was used a couple of times before I certainly didn’t know what to think. ...

Re: Going to War with DME again This Morning

DannyPh I checked the Government's Code for a CPAP device and found that it was EO601. I couldn't find were there was any other numbers or letters attached to their Code Number. I thought that when the government paid for a CPAP Device they might want to see a serial number so they wouldn't have to ...

Re: Going to War with DME again This Morning

I was told by my DME that CPAP Devices that were brought back to their office by new patients that didn't meet their compliance requirements were just cleaned up and put back on the shelf. I can see a DME giving a new patient a used Device to see if they were going to stick with their CPAP Therapy, ...
