Re: Oscar Data Results Review
I haven’t heard about others having the same issue, but I got clusters of centrals when using EPR – even at the lowest setting. I have asked two sleep techs about it, and they weren’t convinced that there was a connection. But I guess it couldn’t hurt trying a night without, as Pugsy suggests. It i...

Re: Oscar Data Results Review
I wouldn't be happy with that number of centrals if I was for sure asleep when they got flagged. It's only the centrals that I have a problem with. Do you think you could get by with EPR off or reduced? I would like to see what would happen if we turn EPR off and reduce the minimum to around 8 cm. ...

Re: Oscar Data Results Review
What's the chances that you were awake when the bulk of those CAs/centrals were flagged? How's your sleep quality aside from taking the mask off at inappropriate times? I think you need a crash course on flow rate evaluation so you can see how much arousal/awake breathing might be happening and if ...

Re: Oscar Data Results Review
I’ve edited my first post to add two more nights. Also, sorry about starting the new thread. The last time I posted here was 2013 (I’m more of a lurker than a poster - I’m not sure I have much to add to the conversation). I wasn’t sure that thread would be relevant anymore. If it helps, here is a li...

Oscar Data Results Review
I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my recent results. I picked three nights that are fairly typical, and I think I followed the screenshot instructions correctly. The numbers represented track my six month averages. screenshot-20190910-173702.png screenshot-20190911-080117.png screensho...

Re: Interpreting Results in SleepyHead - Not Sure If Good or Bad
I've got a follow-up scheduled for about four weeks from now.
I am hoping to get off the ambien in the next couple of days (although it did feel good to sleep a little bit, which I hadn't done with the mask on).
Thanks for the helpful info. I do appreciate it.
Will

Re: Interpreting Results in SleepyHead - Not Sure If Good or Bad
Ok, so with the help of some ambien, I got a little over five hours in last night. I've attached the SleepyHead results. I don't remember waking up a single time before the morning. Any thoughts? There still seem to be some clear airway events (19) and some obstructive events (4). http://i1307.photo...

Re: Interpreting Results in SleepyHead - Not Sure If Good or Bad
I guess I'll just keep working on getting comfortable and falling asleep. As to the past, I was a very sound sleeper until about 26. Starting around then, I would find myself dozing in and out of sleep throughout the night (usually not fully waking up). Every once in a while, I would completely wake...

For some reason, the Dropbox link didn't work. I'm trying photobucket now.
Here is the screen capture:

Re: Interpreting Results in SleepyHead - Not Sure If Good or Bad
Thanks, Pugsy. I never saw the results of my sleep study. In fact, I didn't know much about any of this until I got my CPAP. I'm not sure I know what APAP mode is. I know that I was told that pressure would be set to 9, and it would ramp up from 4 for the first 10 minutes. As far as breathing, it's ...

Interpreting Results in SleepyHead - Not Sure If Good or Bad
I was diagnosed with obstructive apnea about a month ago, and I received my cpap about two weeks ago (s9 autoset - I asked for it after reading posts on this forum - and a nasal mask). The first week was awful. The mask was insanely uncomfortable (it felt fine sitting up in the DME office, but layin...
