Re: MRSA
I went through the MRSA wringer myself. Got my first outbreak after a long spell of prednisone to treat COPD flare ups. Have had oral, IV, and painfull butt shots. I get an outbreak maybe once a year now. The Dr told me that everyone has this in their body and a weakened immune system makes you more...

Re: CPAP Improves Hearing
I'm glad you brought that up because I had a similar experience. After the first six weeks or so of treatment it seemed that I was hearing all things better than before. The theory about the pressure helping to clear the ears makes sense to me. Or maybe it's oxygen related. I don't know. I don't hav...

Re: First follow up with Sleep Doc..
Triadz: My primary care physician ordered my sleep study and writes my prescriptions. He has no clue about apnea. He has referred some strugglin' patients to me and sometimes he asks about the equipment masks, machines, DME's). If I had serious sleep issues, I would ask for a sleep doctor. My quest...

81 down to 7.8 sounds like a good start. If you could get some software and post some screen shots there are people here who can possibly help you to bring it down more. Also, go into your profile and add your equipment set up so people can help you.
Good luck...

First follow up with Sleep Doc..
Been on the hose since March 1st and had my first follow up Friday. They said bring your data card. When I got there the receptionist took my SD card and uploaded it into her PC. It was a long wait so I figured the Dr. must be analyzing the 45 days worth of data. Finally I see him. He looks unintere...

Re: CPAP Basics 5 - by author of Sleep Well Feel Great CPAP
Therapy data, reading it and understanding it, (as too many doctors and techs will not or cannot do), is critical . Is this on "the list" at all? My therapy worked (uh, ok) without data (for a few short months) but with data, my therapy has improved at least 40%. Others have had even more significa...

Re: Boston Marathon Suspects
The above posted article seems a little like a conspiracy theory to me....maybe someone's been listening to too much Coast to Coast? I'm usually a fan of anything Israeli, but I think this is a little too farfetched...just sayin' Well obviously there IS some kind of conspiracy in this crime even if...

As a consumer I support labeling of ingredients. Monsanto is cornering the seed market and soon it may be hard to find non- GMO alternatives, unless you grow it with natural seeds.Genetically modified Salmon may be introduced soon. He makes some good points about gluten. I have friends that have eli...

Re: OSA & Frequent urination during the night
Having prostate issues myself and getting up 3 or 4 times a night I can relate. Now it's only once. Twice occasionally. I also have way more energy and focus. I truly believe that in time a lot of little things here and there will start to clear up. Maybe that's why the doctors aren't diagnosing OSA...
