Re: anyone using hydrogen peroxide added to distilled water in t

C’mon guys, lets play nice. The OP won’t come back if we hurt his/her feelings on his/her first post I assumed that he/she is thinking about adding H202 to the water reservoir to protect the water (which, after all, sits there for several days) from germs or whatever. I don't know anything about the...

Re: Respironics bipap st for sale 26 machine hours.

Can we get a bit more info:
Can this machine take a memory card?
Will it submit its data to be analyzed by SLeepyHead et al?
Does it have a humidifier?

Thank you!

Re: Can any ol' SD card be used to capture sleep data?

Thank you for a plethora of options. While checking out mellabella's site for a Sandisk, I got a popup alerting cheapy me to a cheaper option: http://www.oempcworld.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=O&Product_Code=026200 Sandisk 2 GB for $5.95 w/free shipping if you order $10. They h...

Re: Can any ol' SD card be used to capture sleep data?

THANKS, Y'ALL! ooops. Plenty of necessary info here. (making list:) -- plain *low* capacity SD cards -- widdle baby ones -- 1 or 2 G only -- BigLots or Wallmart -- they *are* very hard to find online & way more expensive then HC wish me luck: it's not as much fun when you can't see you little charts...

Can any ol' SD card be used to capture sleep data?

I dropped the SD card that I've been using (aka the one that came with the a-pap.) Our hosts have the best price for a replacement: $15 for a no-name 4 GB card. When I tried some of my SDHC cards, the a-pap tried by couldn't recognize it. [I just realized when typing it that the “HC” part might have...

Re: Best Way To Handle Malfunctioning Equipment?

Thanks for explaining that, Pugsy. One of the problems that concerns me is that, after it ramps up, the pressure just stays at a flat line, usually at the maximum If you can tell me how to copy a piece of a SleepyHead report, I would like to show you. (that might have been a help from the beginning....

Re: Best Way To Handle Malfunctioning Equipment?

And I thought it would be easy checking out the equipment before I sent it off yelling "foul!" DD: checked pressure setting 1st thing.have be playing with them in an attempt to make it behave. PUGSY: You had asked about Pressure Support. It was not listed on the page of items that one could change, ...

Re: Encouraging SleepyHead Donations for Mark's Past Work!

Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention, Nate. So often, we think, OK, let's try this software out & if it works well, I'll kick in some dough...and then we forget to do so. SleepyHead is so helpful, my go-to program for apnea reports -- and the sheep with the full-face mask is great! I...

Re: Best Way To Handle Malfunctioning Equipment?

Was your old machine a Cpap? If it was a brick but handled your needs, a bpap set the same should provide good results. Nope. Old Machine was a non-auto bipap. Could it be Sleepyhead not showing what is happening causing a problem? Don't think so, otherwise: A) I would be able to feel the expiratio...

Welcome, Big Fella! You couldn't have come to a better place for information, support, advice, and a few good jokes. Good on ya! (is that written out correctly? I wan't sure. Just wanted to say something to make you feel at home.) Beautiful that you're doing so well already in terms of being comfort...

Re: Best Way To Handle Malfunctioning Equipment?

BTW, I'm wondering how you determined that the machine was malfunctioning. I noticed that: A) I was not experiencing the energy I had expected based on my experience w/good ol' brick; B) SleepyHead's Readings for Pressure only showed one line (instead of 1 for Insp. & 1 for Exp.); the line that it ...

Best Way To Handle Malfunctioning Equipment?

I have found that my new (3-4 months old) auto bipap machine is malfuntioning, asn has been from the beginning. I had thought that something was off, because I was not waking up ready to take on the world, as I used to with my old dumb brick, but I wan't sure if I were the problem (because I suffer ...

Problems with New APAP

My handsome new auto bi-level is not working correctly. Actually, I think he has had the problem ever since I got him, but I was too stoopid to realize what was wrong. I bought him outright on cpap.com. My sleep doc refused to have an RT check him out & adjust him when he found out that I wasn't goi...

Re: What's the best CPAP machine?

DeVilbiss collects full data as well. Moreover the machines come with a 5 year warranty instead of the 2-year that is industry standard. AND they are less expensive for the same features. Many DMEs have a relationship only with ResMed or Philips Respironics, so you don't see many DeVilbiss machines ...

Just figured out now that there is a page 2.
But! I know who to blame...myself for being up at 3:55 3rd night in a row.
