Full face mask
I'm thinking about giving a full face mask a shot because I've noticed my mouth being open a fair bit recently. I've tried straps and what not in the past and I did not like them. Right now I'm using the wisp and I just love how non-intrusive it is. The Airfit 10 seems like it borrows some of the de...

Re: Is Putting Vinegar "In" Humidifier Water Safe?
I use vinegar to clean my gear on occasion. I just thin down the vinegar with water, wash everything, and then let it dry before using it.

Re: More Tired Now than when I started CPAP a Year Ago.
I was going to post a similar thread as this one because I don't think I've ever really felt "good" on CPAP. It's better than I am without it, but I'm still pretty tired all of the time. I've tried monitoring with sleephead and posting the results here. Overall, I think my numbers are mostly fine. I...

Re: Do I need to go back to Dr
Thanks everyone. Always good to post here I have used Sleepyhead, but I just can't remember what is good vs bad. I brought up my data for the last few days and my AHI for the nights vary between .8 and 3. Looking back at my relic data, it looks like I'm back in the zone. I'm not seeing a bunch of ob...

Do I need to go back to Dr
I stopped using my cpap for awhile because I had to work out of town for a few months and it was too difficult to bring with me. I am back on it but wonder if I need go back and get my pressure checked? I really hated the sleep test the first few times.
Thanks
Greg

Re: ResMed Nano and Leaks
I ordered the Standard size cushion for the nano and it still leaks for me quite a bit more than the Wisp. I like the much lighter headgear than the Wisp, but the leaking (mostly right up into my left eye) is bad enough that I ripped it off during the night and went back to the Wisp. So, looks like ...

Re: ResMed Nano and Leaks
hummm..... looks like I'm going to have to order a standard size now and see if it works any better. I do like how light it is and the material the cushion is made out of is more flexible than the pillow on the Wisp. You would think with the double skirt/seal on the Nano, it would seal really well. ...

ResMed Nano and Leaks
Have any of you tried the Nano and found that it leaked quit a bit? My daily mask is the Respironics Wisp, so the concept is very similar to the Nano. Note: I also have the Eson, which I don't like because of the funky strut on your forehead. I had high hopes for the Nano because it uses minimal hea...

Resmed Nana Pillow Size??
My favorite mask is currently the Respironics Wisp (although I can't seem to change it in my signature). I've been thinking about trying the newer ResMed Nano, but I can't decide which pillow size to get (the wide or the standard). My previous DME used to let me try out masks and then return them, b...

Humidifier issues
I have a Respironics Series 60 Auto that was brand new from my DME just over a month ago.
The last couple days, I have been waking up with my humidifier tank mostly full and my throat all sore, even though the settings have not changed on my humidifier.
Do these things just go bad?
Thanks,

Resp. Effort Related Arousals and Leaks
A little background: My sleep study diagnosis was Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome. So, most of my events tend to be arousals, as opposted to OSA events. I have been watching my RDI (similar ot AHI) average in sleephead as it relates to leaks and I'm seeing a consistent correlation. I'm using a nasa...

Re: Pressure Line in SH has disappeared!
Sleepyhead is a little buggy. Sometimes graphs disappear for me as well, then re-appear a couple days later.
Sometimes rebooting fixes the problem.

Re: Most popular nasal mask
My husband has been wearing the Mirage Fx mask for several a years and won't consider any other mask. He has more concave checks, unlike my chubby checks, and the mask fits him without the nose soreness that I get. Why are you changing from the pillows? I have been having a difficult time with my t...
