Re: OT: Anybody Consider becoming an RRT?
Even thought im not an RT, I am a Registered Sleep Tech and do CPAP setups. I personally use CPAP myself and it definately helps when talking to my patients because little tricks I found along the way are useful when trying to troubleshoot. Theres always a demand for RT's and you can go anywhere. Im...

Re: DME Equipment Cost to Me ???
Most machines today have compliance cards. And also most people in that age group are on Medicare and Medicare demands compliance information from the DME supplier. If Medicare patients are not compliant Medicare may take the machine away and charge the patient the full amount for the machine. Provi...

Re: ResScan- how do I print all notes?
Ah. I see what you're talking about. Unfortunately I'm not sure you can do that. My company switched to easy care and its much better for resmed patients but I haven't had to print any notes from it yet. That is a very interesting case though. Definitely a good research paper! Re: onset apneas
While in stage 3 most patients don't show events. I'd say follow your lab protocol. But if their AHI is high in 1,2 and or REM then yeah I'd split them but like I said, follow lab protocol.

If you're talking about all the report data for more than one day you have to go up to the task bar and click on review. From there you can edit what days you want to include in the report.

Re: Nothing Fits - Mask Advice
Fisher and Paykel has a new mask out called the pilaro. It's one size fits all and the concept behind it is it inflates to create a good seal, no matter what size nostril. The headgear is stretchy too so no pressure marks,

Re: Boomerang, Gecko nose pads. Do they work?
Hi there, have you tried a full face mask called the ultra mirage? It runs a bit smaller than the Quattro but is a lot like it. It seals pretty good around the eyes and nose because the nose area is a bit wider whereas the Quattro is narrow and sometimes pinches and causes high leaks in the eyes. Th...
