Re: Ladies - protecting long hair.
Just want to share that my long hair issues, breakage/slippage, etc., completed disappeared when I switched to the Tap Pap mask. No headgear = no hair trouble. Problem solved.

Re: Why did Pugsy change Masks and Should I?
For me, the TapPap has been a game-changer, in the best of ways. Because there are no face or head straps, and because I do not mind the mouth piece, I sleep better, and longer, because while sleeping, I feel as if I'm not wearing any mask. I am a mouth breather, but have found a cheap and comfortab...

I just bought one from mcdover for $20 + $10 shipping in the continental U.S. He replied very quickly to my PM, and takes PayPal.

Re: New TAP PAP mask review
Picked up my Tap Pap mask this week from cpap.com. (Thank you, Elizabeth for your oh, so helpful assistance!) Can't remember a better sleep experience than what I've enjoyed these past two nights with this mask. The ability to shift from sleeping on my left, to right, or on my back, without causing ...

Re: 15 Nights as a Hosehead and Graph Help, Please
Also, wondering what you can tell me about this zoomed in graph of the one OA event. Can you say what's happening with my breathing before, during and after the event?

15 Nights as a Hosehead and Graph Help, Please
Making some progress reducing mask leaks; last night was the best so far. Also getting a little more comfortable with side/stomach sleeping positions. Still trying to log more hours and with fewer awakenings each night. Often, like last night, I just give up in the 4-6 hour time frame. Upped my min ...

Re: SleepyHead Graph Help, Please 3/21.13
Other than the leaks (which are hard to see in closeup detail due to the scale)....your report looks fine. You aren't the person trying to wear the Swift FX backwards are you? If you are waking up a gazillion times fiddling with the mask and leaks....something wrong with the fitting or the size of ...

SleepyHead Graph Help, Please 3/21.13
I'm feeling sharp as a marble today after waking all night trying to manage mask leaks. Maybe I only woke up one gazillion times, but it sure felt like more. It's only night six, but because I don't know how to interpret these graphs, I don't know if I'm headed in the right direction, or what to cha...

Re: Apnea - the real risk of dying in your sleep?
By the way, Gracie, I'm like you with only moderate apnea that requires but a 10 on my gizmo to keep my airways open. My sleeping behavior, however, has radically improved since I became a CPAPer in early February. My wife of almost 410 years - oops, that's 41, ha-ha - can attest to no more gasping...

Re: Apnea - the real risk of dying in your sleep?
I became CPAPed because my regular little old eye doctor said my glaucoma might well be due to lack of oxygenated blood reaching those tiny vessels in the optic nerve. I am negative for any other factors that would lead to this degeneration so I decided to heed her advice. Over years I knew I was a...
