Pilairo Nasal Pillow Short Hose "Sticking"
Been using my Pilairo Nasal Pillow for almost a month now and seem to be doing OK. My issue is the 'short hose' lately does not want to swing freely when I turn or move through the night. Examining it yielded nothing stuck inside it and I am good about cleaning it. The hose won't move from side to s...

Re: Pilaro Nasal Pillow - Nose Irritation
Not quite at the Medicare age yet. I checked into my insurance before my study and noted they cover DME 100% so no worries here.

Re: Pilaro Nasal Pillow - Nose Irritation
Thanks. I see I have a "Brick" machine. Bummer. I guess I am not all that concerned about the data, just curious. I have to mail the SD card in to my insurance carrier at some point and can read the hours on the machine. Reviewing my paperwork, I was shocked to see that it is 'rented'. Had a good ni...

Re: Pilaro Nasal Pillow - Nose Irritation
My insurance allows me to get 2 'pillows' per month. Going to exercise that option soon to keep one as a back up in the event of a tear. Been washing it with Dawn 'clear' dish soap. No fragrance, et al. Seems to be working good so far. The pillows look pretty delicate so I don't see myself boiling t...

Will do. I'll keep experimenting. I'll take the little bit of water over the nose irrtation any day.

Re: Pilaro Nasal Pillow - Nose Irritation
Thanks Bucks. I adjusted the headband lower and bumped up my humidity to 3 and woke up just fine. My only drawback this morning was the water in the nasal pillow. Felt it leaking onto my face at about 4 am and took it off. So might have to reduce it again and see what happens.

Pilaro Nasal Pillow - Nose Irritation
Newbie here. I've poked around the board and found some answers to my question, but the posts didn't focus on the F&P Pilairo specifically so I thought I would throw out a line. I am new to the CPAP world (2/1/13). I am 38 and went to a sleep study because my wife could not handle the snoring any lo...
