Re: Help with ASV pressure settings Respironics to Resmed
This is how it was explained to me for a ResMed ASV Min Epap + Min PS = Min IP Max Epap + Max PS =Maxx IP I'm using the Auto ASV I just wish I had Auto ASV on my machine, it would make my sleeping life so much easier. The calculations in your explanation defintely correlate with my current settings...

Re: Help with ASV pressure settings Respironics to Resmed
It's unanimous then 9=9 (duh, on my part). So I should lower my EPAP to 9, keep my ps min the same and raise my ps max to 15...Thank you.Rtrtrt wrote:Using eep 9 ps max 15 ps min 5
Respironics settings would be epap min 9, epap max 9, ps min 5, ps max 15. Max pressure 25.

Re: Help with ASV pressure settings Respironics to Resmed
Absent any other responses about how to move from one to the other, my study was done on a ResMed system and I got the following settings. EPAP 9.0, MAX 15.0, MIN PS 5.0 That eventually got translated to: Min EPAP: 9.0 Max EPAP: 15.0 Min Pressure Support: 5.0 Max Pressure Support: 15.0 Max Pressure...

Re: Help with ASV pressure settings Respironics to Resmed
I'm desperately seeking input as to whether it's possible to convert a recommended pressure of 9 cm for a Respironics machine to EPAP, PS min and PS max settings on my Resmed ASV? And if so, what the equivalent, or even approximate settings might be? I wouldn't be trying to do this on my own, but a...

Re: thinking of making a custom mask any one tried it yet?
wilsonintexas, I'm really interested in your experiment, can't wait to read how it works out. We have the same ASV machine and I've had a terrible time finding anything that fits my face, and/or stays in my nostrils, with the high pressures...Not only that, but my DME (who gave up on me altogether a...
